I had some problems with my SSD so I had to reinstall Windows to another SSD. Now BeamNG runs very poorly. No matter what settings I use I only get around 40-60 FPS with one car. Spawning more cars doesn't affect framerate. Both GPU and CPU usage are low and temps are fine.

    Intel i7 6700
    16GB DDR4
    GTX 1070
    Windows 10

Other games and benchmarks run fine and I've installed latest drivers. Previously I had constant 60 FPS at max settings. So what's wrong with the game now?

Maybe it's because the game is using your integrated GPU instead of your dedicated GPU.

The game is definitely using the dedicated GPU. FPS limiter is disabled.

I was just idling in the West Coast city area with one car. The lowest FPS I got was 34. No matter which settings I use I get about the same FPS. As you can see CPU and GPU usage were around 30-50%.

I'm not sure actually. I just downloaded Windows.ISO to a USB memory stick and installed it couple a days ago. After that Windows installed some updates.

EDIT: I ran Fire Strike and everything is fine with my hardware:

Could you be running in a higher resolution than needed? That's done bad stuff for me before

Did you check the nvidia control panel to make sure there's no sort of "power saving" function or framerate target set up?

I also tried 1440p resolution but that made no difference. Still 30-60 FPS. I don't have any power saving functions enabled and my GPU runs at max clocks when playing.

I have no idea what's wrong with this. I had lots of mods and everything was fine before reinstalling Windows but now I get unplayable FPS without mods. I only get stable 60 FPS in simple maps like Grid but as soon as there is some demanding stuff like vegetation framerate goes down.

But your CPU and GPU usage remains at the same levels, does this happen with other games?
