Have you tried the tech demo?

Seems as though the PC is quite low specced, so try the tech demo just to see.

GT210 is such a low end GPU it might aswell not exist (ignoring its total obsolescence due to age anyway). The CPU is also massively below par.

Try tech demo but I would be highly surprised if it ran even remotely playably on minimum settings.

I don't know that much about computers, but a friend of mine on here was the reason that I have my computer now!
With a budget of about $500, I got the computer kit, but I had to spend an extra $200 on a Windows disc and a CD drive, plus a cheap keyboard, AND a wireless adapter USB thing. Point is, this forum does have a LOT of smart computer people on it! They will be willing to help, and if I knew more about some parts, I could recommend too. ;)

Always build, don't buy. You get sooo much ripped off you'd be better just throwing your cash away... :s
Edit: Give us a budget we can work with, some indications and guidelines and we chose the parts. Then you just need to order them and put it together (don't be scared, it's easy!).

If you buy from anyone like Dell or HP you have no idea what your paying for...Home builds you know exactly what is inside your computer and you know exactly what it can do and how much you can push it...store bought pcs you dont know their limits or what they can really do...ALWAYS buy the parts and build it yourself that means you can assure yourself you have the pc you want and its not full of crap that the likes of Dell and HP stick on the pc to slow it down..

Yep, my first 'gaming' computer was pre-build... What a piece of trash, paid 1000$ for it and, when I learned about hardware, found out that the parts put together wouldn't make 500$, plus the graphics card was shit, as expected...
Edit: Not to forget that you paid for already 1-3 years old hardware, put together by monkeys!

I think my family home computer costed just as much as mine, but it was a Pavilion, UGH, was it SLOW. Someone told me, they are good for Internet and Word, and that is pretty much it XD. I had a little bit of anxiety with the wiring (my SSD is not screwed in and the wire is stretched over the graphics card, and no, it is not pushing the card) because of all the extra SATA cords, and my second (it's whatever the SSUSB is) USB port on the case isn't plugged in, because I can't find a spot to plug it in to. There is maybe two other things that I do not know where they go, but I am probably going to get yelled at by you guys for this, and I understand. I am just happy that it didn't explode when I turned it on XD, and that I was able to realize my monitor wouldn't work because I had to plug the cord into the graphics card, not the mobo, since it has no integrated card.

That ain't much money, but you could still do an APU based system better than your current one

The Last ever pc my dad bought was a Celeron D powered HP Pavillion and it was crap...not good for gaming and when I built my first computer and it was a damn sight faster and gave me smooth graphics back in 2006

It's normal for a first build, don't worry. Not everyone spends 5 hours like me doing the cable management xD
