Are these computer specs enough?

    Hi

My 8 year old son really wants to play this game.

However, my computer is a 2 year old Lenovo B50-80 with an i3 4005u 1,7 GHz cpu, 128 SSD HD, 8 GB RAM and an Intel HD Graphics 4400 graphic card.

Will this be enough to run the game fairly smooth?

Otherwise I'll not go on and by the game and give ham a bad experience.

    Thx,
    Kenneth

I played it on a similar but newer system (i3 7100u) and it couldn't run the main menu background video. Changing it to an image from the options was a pain in the ass.
Aside from that, the game ran at an acceptable 30-40 fps at 720p lowest settings. In Gridmap, the least intensive map, it ran at around 70f ps.

You can try the tech demo, but it's very outdated and may run worse than the actual game.

Thx. What happened in the main menu with the video? Could you use the menu and game but just not see the video or did it crash the game in the menu?

I ran the game at 20 FPS on a Pentium D Samsung laptop, so it could.
It all depends on how much of a GPU or how much cores you've got, if you've got under 2 cores then that isn't enough and it wont run properly.
Is it a laptop or a desktop?

It was just really laggy. The video was visible and I could use the menu, but it was painfully slow to use. It was fine after changing the setting.

Also, I tried underclocking my cpu to 1,5GHz. It still ran over 30fps at most situations so I think you will be fine.
