I will deal with it, if I have to up lighting. (thats a nope)
My tablet has a quad core i5-3320M, I think. It is top-of-the-line for a school computer AFAIK. It is a Lenovo X230 Tablet. It also has a 120GB SSD so yeah.

I decided to model some hubcaps for the Golf...
    i-have-no-idea-what-im-doing-dog.gif
As most of you know, I don't have much experience with Blender. I've never modeled anything in my life However, I didn't think modeling a hubcap would be terribly difficult. I decided to give it a shot. It's not that great, nor is it the typical hubcap from the Golf. I saw this style of hubcap used in a photo, and thought it would be easier to model. It is now fully textured and working in-game. Just like the Covet hubcaps, they can be added and removed from the parts menu (the default is with hubcaps). I also renamed the engine and fixed one of the textures on the suspension. Next up, I plan on fixing the Jbeam, working on the lights, and adding gauges.

Just to clear things up, I change the title of this thread every time I update the mod. If I have a progress update to show (like the hubcaps), I will post UPDATE [date] in the title. If I release a new version of the mod, I will change the title to RELEASE [date]. It just makes it easier to see when the mod has been added to.

Just a strange bug I've noticed. After using the Golf for a while, I switched over to the stock Covet, only to find that its interior had turned orange. I tried switching the Golf with other vehicles to experiment with what I had found, and discovered that when I switch from the F250 to the Golf, the Golf has a strange green and black texture that takes up the exterior. Other than that, it's been a very fun vehicle to drive, and I'm really enjoying it.

Lol pretty much how I view this is that it looks like a dinosaur from the 1990's but it is a very modern tablet. My school tech person really knows what's up :)

If anyone thinks "I do not want this car released on other sites" will stop them, you are sadly mistaken unfortunately.

One thing that seems a bit weird is the rear vw logo...it feels wrong...

    -edit-

NVM. Google search proved me wrong :D
But nonetheless...I can't remember that i saw any rear logo before on this car...

Can I ask in the 1-14 update does the dashboard work yet?

Sigh.. Please read better. I've seen you asking things answered just a few messages above you before, and you just did it again.

In the message showing the hubcaps, he says he plans on doing the gauges. That means they're not working yet.

Re: (UPDATE 1-14) '87 Volkswagen Golf Mk2 GTI

    Hello chaps,

I've been looking forward to trying the Golf, but I can't get it to work. I've downloaded and extracted to my vehicles folder (as I've done with the other custom vehicles I've tried, which all worked), when I try to select the Golf in game, the default truck disappears but the Golf never appears. Eventually after a minute or so with no car, Drive dumps me back to the desktop.

Any thoughts? What am I doing wrong? Apologies if its something obvious/dumb.

    Cheers

In my opinion it would be nice to add some more options later, like other grilles from other Golf 2 models. (Like the two light one)
