Big screenshot bug

I saw there was already a post on this topic, but I also saw that it was more than 3 years old and decided to make a new post about it.

I've been bugged by the big screenshot glitch where it doesn't stitch together the image properly, and instead leaves it as a cluttered mess. I've had this problem for a considerable amount of time, but I've recently upgraded my computer and wanted to take some nice screenshots. However, when I tried, the issue above appeared for the billionth time. Is there some way to fix this?

And no, turning off SSAO and switching between windowed mode, fullscreen and borderless has not helped.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

 

What shortcut do you use for creating screenshots?

 

By shortcut, do you mean keybind? If so, I use the standard ALT+P

 

Try using Ctrl+P.

 

But then I have the standard 1080p resolution, the whole point of me taking screenshots with ALT+P is to downscale the image and get rid of the chipping diagonal lines. And yes, normal screenshots do work, but I want higher resolution ones

 

I'm afraid this bug can't be solved now and you have to use Ctrl+P. I had similar problem, too, until I switched to Ctrl+P.

 

Damn... In that case, I guess I have to run the game itself in 4k... Thanks for the help regardless!

 

This just started happening to me, it happens when you move the mouse, or at least I think it does. Do you have reshade enabled?
Until then, take a normal screenshot it, then upload it to letsenhance.io, where it quadruples resolution and adds missing details back. I use it often, and it works quite nice.

 

ReShade is modded in, right? And not moving the mouse does nothing, sadly. Thanks for the enhancing sight though! I'll make sure to use it until the big screenshots work!

 

ReShade doesn't come stock, but there are many presets (I have all of them downloaded, and swap through them when I'm in the mood lol).
