As soon as I started playing I noticed a few things I would like to know a few things about, mostly talking about the controls of certain things and I can change them. The driving is a bit unstable, I know that this game is meant for a kind of crash driving simulator and I don't mind the controls, but I am used to the Saints Row IV driving controls/settings (the way you drive in that game). Saints Row IV can be referred to Grand Theft Auto 5 for those that don't know SR 4. I don't mind the controls, as I said before, but I would very much prefer to know if I can change my settings to how they used to be in SR 4 (change them as much as possible not exactly to SR 4). I would just like to be able to drive like SR 4 in this game because I love this game and I've been playing Saints Row IV for nearly 1100 hours now including my PC and XBOX mainly because of the driving. A few days ago I discovered this game and the demo showed me the controls were much more realistic.

Not a negativity post, just wondering if I can make it a bit smoother for what I've been used to for nearly 1100+ hours.

kind of think this isn't possible since the steering seems to be causing this.

Yes, you can change key bindings.

Thanks, but wasn't the complete answer I was looking for. To make it more clear, I meant that the driving in this game is something Grand Theft Auto players argue about (from what I've seen so far). I just wonder if I can make it really smooth so that it moves exactly to what your key bindings are. I was aware that key bindings could be changed.

Unfortunately, the only way you'll be able to drive in BeamNG is in a realistic way. Of course, considering your tastes and your appreciation of SR4, you may want to try out the top-line versions of the SBR4, Sunburst, 800 Series, or K-Series to see if even the most controllable vehicles in the game are too uncontrollable for you.

Also, the techdemo is ancient, so the cars in modern BeamNG will handle a lot better than the cars in the techdemo.

That answer makes up for more than what I was worried about. I found no mistakes in my opinion in this game but 1100+ hours of driving in one way makes a different way hard. I did indeed know the demo was very old but never knew the driving was different. Thanks a lot!

No problem! Also, the hillclimb cars are excellent if you want a really fast car with near-arcade levels of grip. Seriously, the Sunburst, SBR4, and '88 Pessima Hillclimb are just staggeringly quickly on any road course.

Of course, if you want to have a slower, older car that can be easily controlled and still has a decent amount of power, the Covet ZXi SE, Sport versions of the Grand Marshal/D-Series/Roamer, LeGran Sport V6, '88 Pessima GTZ and ZX AWS, and the '96 Pessima Sport are all excellent vehicles for beginner players. Almost all of these have ABS, the D15/Roamer Sport and '88 Pessima GTZ are all-wheel-drive, most of them have good handling (even compared to the more modern vehicles), and some of them can be surprisingly quick for their age and weight.

Once you've gotten past those vehicles, though, I recommend going for something like a 200BX Type-LS or a Miramar GTZ to get a feel for drifting. These cars will be powerful enough, and they also have LSDs, manual transmissions, light weight, quick-ratio steering, and sporty suspension and tires.

The only thing I am quite good at right now, not on purpose, is drifting. But that's about everything I can do in the demo.

I found picking up a wired XBOX 360 controller off eBay for my PC helped my driving a lot. Find it much more fun to drive with the controller than the keyboard. Plus, the game is already configured for the XBOX 360 controller, so it's just plug and play.

Well, in that case...you may be able to pick up the Bolide 320 or the 200BX Drift a lot quicker than I thought you would.
