As some of you know or may have seen I am working on a full RWD converted Covet, with custom sounds, modeling, texturing etc. Well I was playing around with the new update that launched when i realized that it completely broke 170+ hours I've spend the fast 2 and a half weeks of work I put into it! Thankfully I quickly realized how the new file structure of ver 0.11.0 works and was able to fix it within about 3 mins :D, definitely had a scare since this is my first mod ever for Beamng which was alot for me to learn how all the coding worked, as well as several new programs which I was very unfamiliar with including Blender which gave me ALOT of trouble.

Just like me, i had a stroke when everything on my SRT Demon mod for BeamNG diapered and just broke. My customs sounds where gone, custom hood was gone, tires, custom suspension, logos, skins, etc. Fixed the sounds and hood, but the tires and suspension really need a fixing.

Yeah all I had to do was re name my .JBEAM files, for example my custom fuel tank was named hatch_fueltank but if would not show up anymore so I renamed it to hatch_fueltank_rwd and it worked, so I simply did this too all my files which no longer worked and now completely fixed everything :D

Yeah it should, make backup of files just in case if you need to modify the internals for some items.

My Blue Collar mod was completely wrecked by the update, with its tire issues being amplified, making me put it on hold in favor of another project until I can redo it all properly, though its not related to this issue.

It should be common practice to name your JBeam files something else other than official files. The name is not the most important part, its the contents inside that the game truly cares about.

Yeah I know, but I had gotten lucky and this fully fixed my issue which before it didn't have. I had kept them roughly the same name since I had been adding content to an existing car, btw I have your Blue Collar mod installed it still works for me, I really enjoy it as well.

I was getting exploding tires and instabilities on my end.

Its not your mods conflicting, its the blue collar itself.

Updates have a tendency to compound issues that were previously minor ones. Thats what happened here. It was previously only present with certain wheels.

I am bored, just posted a really long thread on another project I am doing, let me see if some beams are causing the issue.

Btw, we really should be talking about this in my Blue Collar thread.

Older vehicles don't have a rev limit on then, that's what causes that to happen.

    anyway
