You got an f'ed up hair dryer!!! LOL! Sound more like an irritating grinder skipping up on bare metal to me.
Has anyone else had issues with reversing the I-Series? Or is it another mod problem on my end? And I've noticed that a lot of engines has gone quiet, like now you don't hear the default engine sound anymore. Did the devs remove that sound?
Loving the new map so far.. the alleyways are a bit odd and sparse though. Only complaint I have so far, excellent work otherwise. Thank you.
Its the horn sound, You can make a pigeon sound like a t-series etc. it changes the horn is what it dose
the problems i'm experiencing is the BOV is a little nasty on the ears, the turbo is a little too whiny, both need turning down. also some of my cars that otherwise looked right are now having certain color issues, photos are below, the hopper has all orange suspension, rollcage and some interior items. The moonhawk has windows that are orange panels , only some though, some look OK. the trophy truck has orange brake calipers, they were usually like gray or black
The issue with the screenshot overlay staying around is still a thing. Look at how many times I've taken screenshots to get the overlay to not be there.
T-Series new automatic gearbox not working, anyone else? If you put it in drive it just hits rev limiter and will not shift
When I was taking screenshots on low graphics settings it was fine. To get my new profile pic I turned the settings to max and limited the frame rate, at that point I got about 4/5 of the pictures with the overlay in it.
Well, I did have graphic settings set to normal, with SSAO and Dynamic Reflections on to make the screenshot look better.
This area at the bottom of the walkway that goes over the main highway and railway is incomplete and I cant get up the steps without popping tires/getting caught up on the steps, even with "the pig" config of the D-Series, not to mention its a bit immersion breaking. I also came across a bug where I am unable to toggle 4WD with my keyboard/controller after respawning/recovering. It toggles fine with the powertrain UI, spawn a new vehicle with 4WD, or use the vehicle config menu to change the transfercase until you respawn/recover. I cleared my cache and used safe mode but DID NOT fresh install (yet).
0.11 added the ability to destroy an engine via over torque, this is likely what you are encountering. If the engine is a mod, increase the "maxTorqueRating" and "maxOverTorqueDamage" values in the engine jbeam file... or remove those lines to disable over torque damage... if this is a intake tuning using the vanilla engine, you are going to need to duplicate the engine jbeam with the 2 mentioned values modified/removed... ... and on that note, the 1989 Pessima's 2.0L engine doesn't have the "maxTorqueRating" and "maxOverTorqueDamage" lines. This explains why the engine can handle a 500+ kW nitrous injection.
Thanks for the queue. Not currently modding, actually bought the game around 3 weeks ago just to relax and be silly. I little disappointed that some of the modder's hard work into making this game casually enjoyable got "ruined". I'm sure more mods will pop up soon to fix these issues and use the new better sounding non-turbo'd engines and Beam will soon fix the turbo ear destroying bov awefull sound.
okay so is the bridge going to be added because you could make it into a high way that leads into the redwood forest or something like that and then do the same with the other highway or just do something of the sort because currently it looks like you have an uncompleted map and it breaks the immersion so bad that I can't play without being bothered by it.
After reading this I immediately went and made a 1000+ ft. lb. torque Pessima drag. Absolutely awesome!
