I don't see why you're arguing with me? So you've acknowledged that it isn't entirely a simulation and is part game. All I ask for is a option to make engines invincible while not having to jump in and out of the code when i feel like changing that. Which you seem to have agreed with, so all that leaves you with is complaining about my title. Well it did its job, it was built to get attention to something i found oh so annoying, yes i know this is solved, some dude made a mod which im very thankful for. The game has arcade shiting so, partly arcade game?

Go to the beamng folder, go to content, go to vehicles, find carname_engine.jbeam, open it.
Just copy a vanilla engine, put it in a new .jbeam file (I'm gonna assume you know where to place it as you implied you've modded the game before, but I'm happy to explain it if needed)
make sure to close al brackets and stuff and change maxTorque to a higher number.
It's really easy to change it. I've done it with a butload of engines.
