Where to put mods

Before the patch I used to dump my mod info and vehicles into the actual vehicles and maps folder....now I read the guide again and it says put them into the my documents folder....I tried either and they both don't work. So I am supposed to dump the zip file of vehicle AND maps into a folder called mods and that's it? because it doesn't work either at all, neither does the subscribe link and the list in the game under mods...nothing shows up. I ticked advanced options I thought that was how to unlock this.

 

Something is up with the way you are installing them or with the mods you are trying to install. Putting the mod directly into the game files is only going to cause trouble.

If this doesn't work, it's likely that the mods are extremely old and may be packaged incorrectly

 

You put the .zip file in \Users\your_username\Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods

 

I'm dumb I was unpacking them
