I drive a 2001 Volvo V70, turbocharged 2.0 litre 5 cyl. Producing 180 HP - - - Updated - - - You guys in Japan are lucky to have all those exclusive cars. Here in sovjet Norway you can barley get a 1996 200SX without selling your kidney. One in decent condition sells for around 17.500 USD, or 1669603 Yen. There is only a handful of street legal (registered) Supras, Skylines and RX-7's in entire Norway. You lucky bastards
I drive a 1983 Ford Capri 2.0 litre. I've owned it for over 7 years now, and I've kept the thing going through thick and thin. I drive it almost every day, and it's never let me down. Only when I've run out of petrol, but I can't blame the car for that
Bet it really conserves the fuel. Which is what I really need. I'm looking at getting a bike just for my daily commutes to work (42km there and another 42km back). In my Maxima, sometimes I floor it to overtake and in those couple of seconds I end up going from 90 to 130Km/h accidentally. Really should watch my speed.
no its actuly fair decent 100 mpg so i get about 300 miles on a tank witch only cost about 15 'insert $ amount here'
Here was my car. A 1999 Chevrolet Suburban LT. Had 152,000 miles, Strong 5.8L V8 Vortec engine, All leather interior, just awesome! This car was in my family since 2002. It was my dads car up until 2008. Then my mom got it. She hated it. So I got it in 2011. Ever since my dad got his new work van, he just stopped caring about this thing. The air conditioning went out in 2008 (leak in line). Then in 2010 both the driver and passenger interior door handles snapped off. I cracked the windshield on a cold Wisconsin morning cleaning snow off of it. Transmission was slipping ever since 2006. Then I got it. It was the best. The engine was so loud. But in a good way. It actually sounded good. It didn't have too much rust for being a Wisconsin car that lived outside all of its life. Never had problems with it. But just last October, the transmission went from a stable stage, to a "well this is dangerous" stage. It used to shift hard into second gear, but now it would not shift into second gear unless you let go of the gas in high first gear. Emissions testing was this month and I knew I wasn't going to pass. My parents took it back from me to use to get a newer car. I had many great memories in this thing. It only let me down once when I was 30 miles from home. May it rest in peace since I know the dealer we traded it to probably scrapped it for parts. Here she is in its glory along the Bluff's of Lake Michigan.
GOD 5.8L engine ahahah, that's insane here in Europe. I have a Renault Scenic 1.9L diesel engine with 130 hp. Only 1 gallon of diesel here costs 7.5 $, thank god it makes 620 miles with 15 gallons (full deposit). I'll make a picture soon and post it here. Actually it's my father's car, but he has another one so I have this for myself 24/7.
Well, there are definitely other 16 year olds, however you may be the only one that doesn't drive! Jk. There are plenty that dont drive, Maybe not on these forums, and I believe some states/places require you to be 18 instead. Here in japan, the off base Driving age is 18. On the U.S. Military Installation it is 16. Out of curiosity, any reason why you don't?
View attachment 1562 It's an old pic This is my Peugeot 205 1.0XE Junior. It is the absulote base model; A whopping 45 (Yes, forty-five!) horsepower and a 4-speed manual gearbox. It is in perfect condition (I switched the bumper in the pic to an original one) and I want to keep it as nice as possible. The only options it has are a leather steering wheel and a Blaupunkt radio system with cassette it is from 1987 so in Holland I pay no taxes. I'm thinking of buying an other car some time but I'll keep this one, while I own this car since I was 14. I would like to have a Chrysler LeBaron convertible, a 1980's Cadillac or a big 1990's saloon car (Mercedes S W140, Lexus LS400, Nissan Maxima or Toyota Camry etc.)
As I said here is my car, a Renault Scenic 1.9L and 130hp. I made the picture through the window in my room
