So around January of this year (2017) I decided to buy BeamNG after playing it on my friends PC (since 2015? Long overdue ;)) and I paid with Bitcoin for the price of the game at the time, which was about $20-$25..

Well, looks like Bitcoin really went up recently, and I took a look at how much the bitcoin that I used to pay for BeamNG would be today.. Look's like I actually paid around $200 for BeamNG with today's price - but let me tell you something - it's worth every penny;)

Its true that bitcoin prices are a bit insane. I would suggest censoring the image more

Why not just buy it with money?

Tdev, actually, I didn't buy it through Steam! I purchased it from the main BeamNG page using HumbleBundle, there's a Bitcoin option underneath more:)

Honestly it wasn't really necessary to censor it what-so-ever, the transaction is publicly searchable and basically it's like finding a receipt on the ground. :)

When I first read the thread, I was like "Who did you buy it from and what's wrong with you?"

Agreed, Bitcoin will fall soon, and all these investors will be broke. It's like a plague.

Debatable! I see you posted this two days ago and we've seen the price fall and rise about 1500$ the last two days, but they're back at 11k.

It's just a matter of time.
Fill a balloon more and more all you want, but at some point it can't hold any more and pops.

There are a few other investments out there that are going to be worth 20x in a year. If you could have predicted bitcoin look around today. I used to trade pennies and I made 4k off of $50 then eventually went right back to 0
