Turbo Bouncing around

    The turbo doesn't spool at full throttle but spools stable a little at 30%-40% throttle it just bounces at 100% throttle. This seems to be very common for turbocharged vehicles in BeamNG.drive. This makes the car accelerate much slower than its supposed too. There are also stable turbos. I record an example of both. The car with the stable turbo still makes less PS then it should tho, but definitely enough.

    Is your frame-rate as low as in the first video?
    Turbo works on the graphics step.
    If your frame-rate is below 20, then you are not in real-time simulation anymore, and weird things can happen.

    No, I have limited my framerate to 30fps and it is never under that for me, I don't know why the video was so laggy. It might be because I was recording in 1080p but my screen is 1920x1200.

    One other issue that I forgot to mention here is that the different ai info things show different ps outputs, I think the black one is the only one that's wrong tho.

    I figured out now. You just need like at least 40fps in that car for the turbo to be stable, even then bounces it sometimes, but 40 and up is where it needs to be to be stable. Is this possible to optimize or? The reason I limit my fps is cause Teamspeak gets all roboty when my CPU is at max and by limiting the fps to 30 I can have two cars in the game at the same time without Teamspeak going robot.
