so i posted this before and the replies were not acurate. we should have a steering stabilization that countersteers . think it as a simulated FFB for non wheels Live for speed had this feature and it was great playing with keyboard THIS is exactly what im talking about (0:30 mark) FYI i tried to tweak the sensivity reduction at high speeds in settings but its not the same..
yes, currently beamng has a stabilization wich is fixed with speed, the gameplay would really improve and you would feel alot more of the car weight with this, plus alot more control of the car when drifting and racing . we need a dynamic stabilization ! Ps : i have a wheel too, but this could improve the feel for the casual gamer, or like me , who prefers using a joystick in this type of game
Basically you mean force feedback that forces the wheel to go straight due to the friction with the road? i thought BNG already has this.
Not with keyboards. What boronat1 suggested is a feature that keeps the front wheels in-line with the road as countersteering with a keyboard is very difficult to do, even with all the input assists.
you can already enable a "drift mode" for the steering. what you are suggesting would make steering with the keyboard very counter-intuitive.
i tried the drift mode and its just a fast imput method, nothing else??. old beamng arround 2014 had an dynamic input setting but was removed or atleast isnt even on the files something like this ( leave beside the no fiter for the wheel when pressing the key) or try de game itself and you can feel the car with this type of settings, lots of people could race just with a keyboard and drift and feel this type of fake ffb
