So over the course of a couple of weeks I have been updating and fixing a BMW E36 mod that I found on some russian website. I managed to fixure out a lot of stuff, except now the car seems to be partially disabled. You can hear it rev, shoot flames and pop under deacceleration, and the engine torque nodes are working because the body moves slightly when it is revved but the bug in the bottom corner of the screen doesnt work, and it will not move. I read this happend with incompatible mods but I have no idea where I have screwed up, and the console isnt really a huge help either (it does say its missing meshes for pedals and gauge needles, but I didn't think that they would cause the car to disable itself). If anyone has any ideas or solutions it would be HUGELY appreciated, all this work so far has seemed a waste considering the car now works less than when I started messing with it Cheers
If you open the powertrain app, does it show a complete path from the engine to the wheels? Also, forgive me for not knowing this, by bug do you mean the thing that shows your speed, rpm, gear selection, etc...? I don't have access to my PC atm. (otherwise I'd look for myself)
Yeah, the cluster in the bottom right of the screen with the tacho, temp gauge, fuel gauge, etc. I added the powertrain app and low and behold, it only shows the mainengine, with absolutely nothing else around it or attached? It seems odd as the mod worked fine before I added thermals, soundscape and other newer features, Cheers
You will most likely have to add all of the powertrail stuff to the differentials, gearbox, driveshafts and so on. I recommend you just copy the stuff from 200bx and change the names to fit the bmw. You could also add proper BeamNG wheelhubs, as this mod propably doesn't have those.
