I'm posting here to search for some help with stutter issue. I'm experiencing stutter that occurs at random times. Some times I'm playing for about 2 hours and it doesn't happen, but other times I just open the game and it starts to sutter. The sutter occurs every 2 seconds or so. I have takes a few screenshots of the performance graphs with all the graphic quality settings (High, Normal...). I will attach the screenshot with Normal settings.

    My laptop is a Lenovo Y520 7700HQ, 8GB DDR4, GTX 1060 Max-Q 3GB. Hope someone can help me.

You might be experiencing thermal throttling, if laptop / room is warmer at times of stutter that would be easy explanation, or if cooling is partially blocked, for example if laptop is on bed when playing.

You might be able to check that by using Hwinfo64 (hardware info 64, free program, should be easy to find from the internet) use logging function of that and it should be able to tell you what is happening withing laptop when stuttering.

Don't want to add to this, but great job at bumping a 2 year old thread.

Thanks for the advice. The thing is that I've been monitoring the temperatures constantly and the CPU does not seem to be throttling. I'm using Intel's Extreme Tuning Utility, and it monitors the temperatures, clock speeds, and it also tells me if there is throttling going on.

The weird thing is that sometimes the game stutters just after I open it, without the temperatures even reaching high levels. Also, the laptop rests in a stand that has a metallic mesh, so the air intake of the fans is never blocked.

I have seen that some people fix this issue by turning the "Shader Cache" Off (on Nvidia Control Panel), but I tried it without success.
    Any help would be appreciated.
