I'm planning on doing every vanilla engine in the game. These are done so far.

is there/going to be a 200bx or sunburst one? i also think this mod could have a ton more potential if we could configure the amount the engine can take. 3.5/5 nice mod

Yes, currently the modded 200bx engine can handle up to 1250 Nm, I might tweak this, it should be in version 0.2 (uploading tonight, probably up on monday or so? I'm always happy to send a .zip via PM)

I don't know yet how strong I will make the Sunburst engines, probably around 2500 Nm, as it's really easy to get a lot of grip down with vanilla parts.

I would also like to make the engines more easily customizable, but I just started out modding, so I can't make any promises.

 

this may be a stupid question but are these separate engines or does it edit the default engine files? cos I still want to be able to blow up engines occasionally

 

Same here, these are seperate engines, normal engines will not be changed

Obviously if you know modelling

 

Sadly I don't know anything of 3D modelling. I am planning on doing a V8 swap for the ETK-I series or the Hopper sometime, might be a good way to get in to more serious modding.

This mod is really cool! I self modded a bigger N2O tank, and got a sunburst close to 300 mph!

 

This mod has some audio files in somewhere. when the new update came out, i didn't notice a difference in noise when it was said to have new noises. I deactivated all of my mods and i heard the new noises. I didn't have any specific mods for different engine noises, so i had to go through many hours of searching just to find that it was this mod. Leave this as a fair warning to anyone who doesn't want their engine noises changed.
