I am not joking, I want to know. I am sure it will run well but how well?

    Minimum FPS: 69.420
    Maximum FPS: 42069

OT: It would run quite well. Most likely max graphics with 10 cars.

I'd love to see some BeamNG benchmarking with both the 1950X and the 7980XE:cool:.

That's a good question, actually. I'm not sure how BeamNG assigns vehicles to threads.. it's possible you could have 32 cars running at once with no FPS drop.

Beamng creates 1 thread per vehicle. How they're allocated to CPU cores (be they physical or part of SMT pipelines) is decided by windows.

Lol my FX8350 does just fine, although I haven't gone above 10 cars.

You could run a 32-vehicle-simulation in real-time likely, unless the game engine bogs down in some way I'm unfamiliar with.
You can have up to a max of 64 cars & props combined in the game before it won't properly render them.

The high RAM bandwidth when all channels are used, helps performance a lot, A LOT. 4ghz of CPU speed can run two cars per REAL core at no less than 30~35FPS (possibly 40fps).
If you want to run Beamng.drive with LOADS of cars, that is THE cpu to get.

If and when you get it report some numbers for performance back here.
For example: "My i7 4790k @ 4.4ghz all-core speed, ddr3 2400mhz (16gb dual channel) will run up to 10~12 vehicles before the speed drops below 20fps minimum for full speed physics simulation"
This is a quad-core octo-thread machine 4c/8t. The 1950X is 4x that with over 2x the ram bandwidth (theoretically). Much better than melting the artic ice-caps with an overpriced i9 I'd say.

Yes it's a very good system with LOTS of pci-express lanes. It's quick and the cpu running at 3.5~4.0ghz is plenty enough of performance to run anything, and run it well. There's basically nothing this cannot do in real-time. Feel free to give it a good workout on Roane County Tn, with lots of AI - it's a great stress-test.
Or use lots of AI on Tail of The Dragon (with IN-LANE setting to ON) using the AI Control app, should be quite fun then, you will have lots and lots of traffic on the route.

If they run into road-side objects give me a shout (it's my map, both of them) on Tail of The Dragon, as they should not hit anything and the AI should stay on the road perfectly at all times except maybe at either far end where it might crash/get stuck turning around.

    --Cheers and do enjoy!

You're very very welcome. I do my best to make it with heart and soul and only release stuff I WOULD ENJOY playing (and I do). If I am not going back time and again to play my own maps, something is very wrong and must be fixed.
Enjoy your MEGA-PC when it comes. You will be able to Beamng until the cows come home.
You can run a Truck, a Trailer, and about 60~62 pianos (max amount) in it, almost filling it (game limits it to 64 vehicles/props), and have real-time physics. Gets down into the teens for FPS for me on this but sure is fun demolishing them all.

How many Belaz do you think i could run?

What kind of monitor do think would be good with this 24in to 28in?

[truck, a Trailer, and about 60~62 pianos] I will do that and send you pics

28 inch monitor, bigger the better, at least when having old eyes like I do. Currently 27" 1080p monitor and I wouldn't mind if it would be bigger.

You could try this, certainly it will run it better than 7fps! (that is 28 vehicles with lights and beacons on):

All those lights make quite a bit of extra stress for CPU, would be interesting to see how well it runs such extreme condition.

You can get a nice screen at a pawn shop for dirt cheap, just walk in to a few pawn shops and look for a nice newly-used TV and you can grab like a 40" like I did for CHEAP. I've not regretted that one bit. 60hz @ 1080p and decent response time is all good (check that before you buy, pick up the fastest responding one in the shop that's priced right).
Don't need a smart TV or anything, but it's nice if you have a PC in a bedroom your buying it for.

28~30 inch is a nice size if it's a few feet away, same with a 40". I love it because it makes editing maps so much easier when you can see everything (surely higher resolution would too, but I'm not one to want).

This is just some Element brand from Walmart, works great though and has all inputs one could want, and I could hook the SNES to it, too.

I am sure you can run quite a few BELAZ trucks. Possibly 15~16 or possibly - don't hold breath, more? You'd be graphically limited before you'd be CPU limited with those - so many sides, so many nodes, etc.
