As of Thursday I will officially be the new owner of a 1993 BMW E36 318iS coupe, in the beautiful color Lagunengrün(aka laguna-green)(quite a rare color, I think?) which has a bit of laquer peel, but oh well. Car has only 106000 miles on it, or 160.000 km, it's a manual gearbox, but it's originally an American imported car(so the speedometer has both miles and km on it), which is probably why it has aircon(I think European 318s don't usually have aircon?). Also has a sunroof(not sure if it works, garage guy said he never opens it in winter so it doesn't start leaking, fair enough, don't really mind if it doesn't work (i'll make it work), and electric windows(which do work, sorta). Really REALLY excited to finally own a rwd car, and my favourite model BMW, at that Truely is one of my "must own at some point"-cars, and now I do! Sadly, that means the Ibiza has to go. For some reason the phone was glowing red-hot. About 6 people called within 10 minutes of placing the advert, but only 1 bid my asking price and is coming to check it out on Friday. Fingers crossed she buys it. I'll still be making it for BeamNG though, as a reminder of my very first car Only plans for the BMW are arm rest(MUST! ) and leather interior atm... Also, automotive archeology is always fun with a new car, learned that from Mightycarmods Here's one pic I managed to make I'll make proper ones later, when it(I mean she!)'s home. And yeah, I dunno what's hanging from the mirror either.
Cool! my friend has an e36 318iS in manual, no AC. shouldn't be hard to fix the sunroof, try resyncronising it. (press and hold button upwards for 20+ seconds). E36's are almost as popular as E30's so the information and fanboys are all there to help you fix it.
