Update Speculation thread

I think it's unlikely but it would be cool. Right now I'm pretty sure the devs are still focused hardcore on the completion of Italy.

But i'd love to see a longer bed for the D-Series, or an adjustable bed. because it seems the bed is still small, even though it's realistic.

 

Me too. I love longbed single cab trucks. It would be cool to make a super long crew cab longbed truck, too.

I'd also like to see an older model of the D-series, like @AR162B 's old D-series mod, with circular headlights, a stepside bed, tube bumpers and old school mirrors.

What is at the top of my personal wishlist (don't worry devs, I'm not nagging you. You have your hands full already, especially now) is engine swaps.

 

Is there a short list of 0.12 rumors anywhere? Anything that is know to be included and announced already?

Well, the 0.11.0.3 and 0.11.0.4 blog posts had this statement in it:

"Please note that this is a hotfix release to fix issues within 0.11. We are also working on 0.12 in parallel too."

This is pretty much normal, once a large update comes out they begin work on another large update while releasing small mandatory fixes to the released public version. They pointed out 0.11, but almost every version undergoes something like this.

 

I'm still holding out for a minivan. I learned to drive in one, and it will always have a special place in my heart.

 

That is kind of what made me ask, haven't been following much of this thread for a long long time so though I would be missing out some juicy leaks, or is this just wishful thinking?

 

I hope, more than anything and any new content, for some optimization. My computer is a $500 Gaming Potato and I can get about 13 FPS on ECA with mixed graphics settings to make the game look reasonably good. I'd like to see HDR become an option again, as well.

 

I think HDR is already pretty much integrated with standard settings, the only difference up to its removal having been tire smoke. I think Nadeo said something about it once upon a time somewhere

 

Gabe indeed said more chassis for the D-Series would be too much to maintain. He seemed to not want to add long beds for this reason, though there have been reasonable community proposals for it using existing chassis.

As for what I want for the update, I just want to be able to play again. Still haven't, ever since 0.11.1 =(

 

It's almost been a month since something was posted in the developer section, what happened?

Because those messages were from a couple days ago when there were 3 ratings. For now they've been suspended until the fixes are added
