I've recently made a nuclear bomb for beamng, and before i upload it onto the repo, i need to figure out how to fix the radius of the explosion. It's a powerful bomb at the moment, but only if your 2 feet close to it (if that makes since, my English is terrifying, since i can careless about English class.)

Anyone an expert on how to make the radius inside an explosion bigger? (such as make it where the vehicle can get damaged if even 15 feet away)

How does your bomb work? What's happening behind the scenes that causes damage to its surroundings?

    1. The bomb explodes when you crash into it, and destroys your vehicle

    2. What do you mean? Like the JBEAM?

Yes. Does it fire nodes in all directions? Does it use lua to mess with other vehicle's Jbeams? Does it quickly expand to push everything away?

Yes, it fires nodes in all directions, but it does not expand very far. Like 2 feet

I took a quick look at your mod yesterday, and found the node frictionCoef was very high. But once I set this to 6, the nodes did fly further but the bomb exploded in an unusual way, not symmetric, and cars nearby could be spared the damage if they were in the right place.

That’s the thing, if I turn down the frictionCoef, the power goes down, and people’s happiness goes down.

Ok, i edited almost every number in the jbeam, nothing changed with the radius. I'll leave it unsolved, but i'll just keep it with a 3 foot radius, because, as seen in my sig, i'm dumb with jbeams, i cant even create my own :p
