Hi, How do I make the rear tires wider? I am converting a Gavril Grand Marshal Widebody Race Edition into a drag car for fun. I've got the engine, transmission, and rear differential tuned how I want for drag racing, it's extremely fast and controllable. I would like wider rear tires so I can have more grip at launch and control at high speeds so my car doesn't start to drift around all over the road.

I agree but it just adds to the drag feel. You need a big fat tire to make it look draggy IMO.

i think u have to rezise ur wheel mesh in edit mode to fit the jbeam

    Edit

just saw ur hub is bigger than the tire. Change the hubRadius to less than the radius and it will fix it

I did that and it did, the tire appears now, but it and the rim are still the same size despite the larger numbers, it just shows the rear tires floating above the ground, though it's making contact with the ground as if there is a larger tire there

Hey, I inreased the tire general settings, the tire looks the same size, however now my tire sits above the ground, kind of floating. How do I fix this?

If you hit k you will see that the jbeam wheel structure has changed. But you still have to model a wider wheel and tire mesh, it doesn't just happen magically.

    hmmm

Is there any way to use tires from another model? Like for example put tires from a D series truck on a covet?
