    Goood idea.

Also, I recommend getting an SSHD. Best of both worlds considering SSds and HHDs. Here is on I use:
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IEKG484/?tag=pcpapi-20
also, If you get 8GB RAM, get one 8GB stick, not two 4GB sticks, because when you upgrade, you won't have leftover RAM, if that makes sense. Here is a website I recommend using to build a PC.

annd a list along w/it. Just an example.

I run beamng with my laptop that has a gtx940m inside of it, which is technically much much slower then that 780. You should be more then fine. Also that SSD will make your experience 10x better. Much much faster then a normal hard drive

An SSHD will work as well.

I've been wanting to build one for under 500$ but I don't have the money for it.

With me trying to build/ buy a high-end gaming pc, the prices have been outrageous lately, so i'd wait until they went down a bit.

Yeah... I guess if I were to build, either I get parts for my birthday etc. or I just wait until the holidays again.

YIKES! That's a lot for where I live.
And yet where I live we got 1/16 in. or so of ice then 2-6in. of snow. This year's winter is a record breaker for Indiana.

Interesting, and this is our first huge snow since about like 2011, so it was a huge deal, so i was outside playing, and drifting RC Cars in the snow

That's fun! Probably just about as fun as Beamng.drive! I like to drift my cousin's ATV in the snow and whatnot.

That's a dead platform to buy in 2018... FX Processors weren't that good when they were launched, now they're a complete waste of money if you want to buy them. For 500 bucks you can buy a Ryzen pc that is way better than that.
    https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dF9Dbj
It's not the most beautiful build (and over you budget I know, but with GPU/RAM high prices this is what the market can offer), but it's better than the FX pc. :)

    Those ram prices are retarded.
    I built my desktop almost a year ago and I paid like 110euro for 16gb 3000hz ddr4
