So: I have a car template I want to import to BeamNG, and make it a driveable car, but I don't know how to. I have Sketchup and my template in there. Is it possible to make a JBeam and stuff? And also build it as a car that can drive? Thanks
Try the Content Creation or mod support forum section, that's the best place to receive help. Most (if not all) of the content creators use Blender, I think there are problems that you run into when you try to use Sketchup.
Links have Sketchup tutorials and more links, some information is overlapping, but I find it usually best to have several views to subject to work out how things really work. https://www.beamng.com/threads/vide...th-working-collision-textures-for-noobs.5071/ https://www.beamng.com/threads/tuto...on-to-sketchup-models-not-visible-mesh.43315/ https://www.beamng.com/threads/sketchup-lods-collision-mesh.34927/
Thanks! I think I may make the JBeam and pass the file to Blender and maybe make it better. Can't wait for my first mod! I have a 2014 Toyota Supra Concept on Sketchup. I'm going to ask to the creator if I can make its name: 2014 Hirochi Prasu or something alike. Thanks for your help.
