Hooray! After spending a couple minutes with the mod, I absolutely love it! It's right at home meandering around the Utah desert.
Overall, it's great! The interior textures on the rear doors are a bit messed up, however. Also, the Jbeam for the rear doors extends backwards a bit to far.
This mod is really quite good. There are only a few improvements I would suggest: Extend the driveshaft to the full length of the car: Extend the B pillars to form a rollbar: Make the rear doors fit with the roof: Make B pillar flush with front and rear doors: Also, the rear door Jbeam is out of alignment with the actual door. Sorry if it seems like I'm nitpicking. I really do like this mod.
Most of my worries were addressed already. It's working great though. My only recommendation is to make it compatible with JackLumba's Offroad Hopper stuff. the front suspension can be 5, 6, or 10 lug already, but the rear is stuck at 5 lug. There's no real choice for offroad tires on 5-lug rims. Thanks and I hope it improves!
I found something odd with the peak edition rollbar lights. The pointlights are off of the actual lights.
I would just adjust the back door fitting and the perhaps the roll cage when the roof is off like the two door. But other than that this mod is awesome!!
I couldn't do any better, but I'd still like to give you a bit of feedback on several things that I'd change. -First of all, the half rear-door has a glass covering instead of a plastic covering, and it looks a bit odd on models with the soft top. -Secondly, proportions! I know that many people have said this, but the rear doors are way too short, and the wheelbase is just a tad too long. One thing that I noticed is that the rearmost section of the vehicle is the same length as it is in the two-door hopper. On the real Wrangler unlimited, this section is considerably shorter than it is on the two door model. Also, the rear door isn't pushed all the way up to the wheel arch, and you could drastically improve the proportions by extending the rear door and filling in that space. As for the wheelbase being a bit long, it's not a big deal, and if there's nothing that can be done to fix it that's fine. Just to show what I mean about the proportions, here's a comparison of the real life Jeep Wrangler two and four door models. I posted this a while back but I don't know if anybody saw it. Tell me if it helps. That being said, thank you so much for making this! I have wanted one of these ever since the Hopper was released.
could you make a version to work with the Gavril Hopper Mod or is it already compatible? --- Post updated --- nevermind it works with the gavril hopper mod
Update for Hopper Unlimited I have added the rollbar!!! Turns out I screwed up the code for it and that cause a glitch It redo the download, so DELETE THE OLD VERSION AND OUT IT THE NEW ONE!!!!
Take your time with things man. Dont worry about rushing stuff to get it released to make us happy. We are lucky enough to even have this mod! One of my favorite mods ever! Cant wait to see whats in store for it. I LOVE the angled tops and the alternate hood!! Here is my wishlist: offroad armor (rock sliders!, more bumpers, tire carriers, roll cages, fender flares that arent massive like the hopper megapack) Long travel suspension (3 link front/ 4 link rear) body lift so we can get a higher lift with the stock axles Cut rear fenders so we can fit big tires hood louvers (vents or scoop) racing bucket seats maybe Like I said though, you have already made a kick a$$ mod!
