I Can't Get Trees Working

I've long had this problem with the map I'm creating. Whenever I try to paint some trees down I get the below error message and despite what I press they end up not there or invisible to me.

I have tried copying the Forrest file from WCUSA and that didn't do anything.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

check out this tutorial that i made btw map editor is not working in this game version you will probably have proplems with terrain materials

 

It's hard to read the text, but I think it is saying you don't have a forest in the map currently. This isn't a problem, just hit yes and it will make one for you.

The problem with that is that whenever I hit yes on the notice it still won't create the trees.

 

I may have just solved my own problem, I did some brief testing on "Gridmap" and "Grid Small Pure" and both maps had the same problem as mine.

However when I tested derby arenas all was good and the trees were placed without trouble.

I'm off now to try and fix the trees with files from DA.
