Weekly race thread

I wanted to create a bit of friendly competition, so i though a race thread before the update comes out to get us ready.

Each week on tuesday ill post a vehicle mod and a track. some times a track like laguna seca and other times a made up track which will be demonstrate via video.
You are not aloud to mod the vehicle must be stock. Also people making up ridiculous times if your wish is to troll and ruin go ahead but id rather not see this.

ok, i was struggling to keep all 3 wheels on the ground and my lap time from the standing start (picture) is: 3:59:9 (4 minutes)
by the way very good idea, i will be keeping my eyes open for the next challenge

 

I'll do it tomorrow. I will also record and upload it to youtube as proof (and for fun too ) with some added crashes that will happen for sure with that car

Edit: I'll try to add a timer to the video.

once i get some time i will try this out.

 

I managed a 3:49.9, but cut a couple corners due to mountains of understeer!

After a few attempts of trying to record a lap, i managed a matching time, but took about 3 tries, kept getting slower and slower! might upload the video if i can be bothered

Just did a 3:32 without stabilisers!
3:15 with stabilisers and LSD.

 

Time was 3:26 (Thats what my s2 said) and i was nearly by finish line and suddenly BeamNG decided to give me an error.

 

Best I could do was a 3:45.31 Hopefully I can do better with more practice . Very fun challenge BTW. Looking forward to more next Tuesday

 

well i would do this if i didnt get this every every minute i play the map D3DERR_DEVICELOST

 

Get the latest drivers, they seemed to fix the problem for me.

 

I'm new to all this, how do I know what my lap time is??

 

I will record my lap and then edit the video and add a timer.

 

i used a stopwatch on my smartphone

 

First try stabilizer broke off second try 3.34
Without stabilizers 3.47

You ought to say no stabilisers, especially since the latest version of the D-bird has stabilisers.

 

I'll have to try this. Will report back with results.

 

Released V2 of the Bird with Stabilizers should be easier now
