Some people think the ibishu covet is a old honda civic, some others think its based out of a Geo Metro, my opinion the ibishu covet, is that its a mixure of the 1991 Mitsubishi colt, and the Old honda civic.
If you look closely and compare all them 3, im pretty sure they look similar to de ibisho covet. Look closely in the interior of the Mitsubishi, and then, to the covet, they look alike to me.
    Tell me what you think.

It is Ibishu Covet, blend of many cars into new interesting package, like all BeamNG cars.

Exactly. Even though it looks a lot like the Civic and Colt, that's where similarities end.

It is a hybrid of three Japanese cars if you ask me. Rear end is a Subaru Justy, from the side its like a Toyota Corolla, and the front is a mix between the Toyota and Honda Civic.

Mash them up, and you have Ibishu Covet :D

If you ask me the Covet is closest to the Civic by far. From the side it's almost identical, and the interior is very close as well: (the car in the picture below also has the optional middle console between the stick shift and the heating controls). Instruments, Dashboard door panels. All very similar. The rear definitely looks like a mix between the Civic and the Justy facelift while the front is quite different from the Civic and could be anything. I can think of no car from that time that looked quite like that.
Also the trim is similar. The sporty Civics of that model all had black trim in the sides as well as the bumpers. You can configure the Covet like that. In addition have a look at SushiPro's facelifted Ibishu Covet. Even though the front and aft are still different it looks very much like the Civic (EC8-EE9)

I think it's almost close to Honda Civic(1983~1987) and Kia Pride(1988~2000)

They look absolutely nothing alike. The only similarities is the fact they're red hatchbacks.

It's based off of a Ford Camaro Hellcat, of course.

    You seen this car?
    upload_2018-2-5_12-29-39.png

Front is influenced by that, but as always with BeamNG vehicles, only influenced, Covet is completely unique creating that is nothing IRL, it is new creation that just has similarities to IRL cars, some interesting shapes that resemble cars in reality, but Covet is unique car created by Gabester, it does not even try to be anything in real life as far as I know.

Think about this, you create new unique car, then people start to say it is this or that car IRL, how would you feel about it?

Front with its 2-levels design and swept-back lights kinda reminds me of the early Rover 200 series, based on the 2nd gen Honda Ballade, in turn based on the 3rd gen Civic.

Civics of that era (and the Ballade itself) used to have a flush bonnet instead, with a thin air intake just below.
