Not long ago my street got its lights replaced with LED's and I just knew I had to talk about since I have nothing better to do with myself, so I am guessing this is happening all over England where street lights are being changed from whatever they were before to LED and they are better really, most lights were worn out, some did not work and went yellow, but recently they have changed them to LED, I know in my area they just changed the bulbs and not the poles, the poles are still just basically ruined but at least it feels more modern when the lights come on. Anyone else's opinion on this? Image below is not from my area.

well, image one looks like the seedy underbelly of a town in an RPG, and image two looks like a normal street with lights actually illuminating their intended target, so it seems pretty ok to me

They've replaced some of the street lights around here with LED ones. I much preferred the orange glow of the sodium lights.

Same. The older ones also did not blind me after driving in a very dark area for quite some time.
