I have been looking for a Laptop for a while now.
I found a Asus Laptop with a i7-7700HQ and a 6GB 1060, which is about the specs that I want. Problem is that it doesn't have an SSD. (It has 8GB RAM by the way)
Do any of you have any recommendations?

That Asus is a good deal, in my country for that money you would get in i3, 8gb ram, 1000gb hdd and no ssd or dedicated gpu.

*Being that it's been a month since OP posted this, I assume he already got something, but if he hasn't*

I've had an ASUS for many years now, bought it in that price bracket way back when. Great laptop, I haven't had any real problems with it aside from the 3.5mm jack getting unseeded after awhile of using it and not being careful. It is a pain to transport due to the weight though.

For awhile I've been debating getting a new laptop in the $1.5k range but decided against it for personal reasons. ASUS and MSI both seem to have quality products in that range.
