i really really love this thing! its so much fun to drive, the only thing i would like to see added to it is an extra powerfull engine for drifting
Add the turbo with Control-W, it has plenty of power for drifting and if you find you need more power still then you need to learn how to drift.
oh thank you for the info, i didnt check in CTRL W menu when i selected turbo option... i tought it would put it on
Any new stuff on the Group B car? Also, wtf is up with the datsun? Is it ever gonna get a thread so we can stop offtopicing about it?
Maybe ask wtf is up with you? It's not the Datsun's fault you guys can't stay organized on a public forum. As of right now I've taken an interest in modding Live For Speed. Progress on anything BeamNG of mine has come to a stop.
I remember when the FIRST mods for LFS were emerging, well first modeling mods.. like spoilers and stuff... Great game really is, but they never update it anymore :S its been over ten years
The fact that the engine is detachable is amazing However, it might help to raise the suspension, at least on the Rally version. The bumber collides with the ground on even the smallest changes of incline.
i really love it, and the design is awesome! - - - Updated - - - i really love it, and the design is awesome!
I LOVE this car! It's my favourite one in the whole game... the rollcage is awesome because the main shape of the car stays intact giving a more realistic damage look
One of my very favorite mods. For some reason I can't seem to make it FWD/AWD though. Is this intended or am I doing something wrong? It seems to act the same way the D-series does with only front transfer case but no rear diff.
MR stands for mid-rear. Mid-rear refers to the powertrain. Mid engine, rear drive. Not front drive, or 4wd, rear drive. You know, like it drives the rear wheels? And if its a mod you've made, don't come babbling to the thread for the unmodded car complaining your modded one doesn't work. Also, dkutch, still no progress?
I know what it stands for. But for more rally fun I wanted to edit it a bit to make it AWD and add a bit of power. I'm not complaining it doesn't work, I'm just asking if dkutch did something specifically in the cars code to prevent such change. Even the Civetta Bolide which is mid-engine with the differential integrated into gearbox is able to be turned into AWD easily.
So really you're complaining that your JBeam edits don't work and trying to dodge the bullet on being held responsible. Attached file should work fine, selection of front wheel and all wheel drive differentials in open and limited slip versions. Yeah, I prefer slapping 4wd diffs in as a single part when converting vehicles that don't have a seperate slot for one.
There might be a slight possibility that I don't want people easily making it AWD... You done bumping my thread?
