He toke down the most recent download, to fix a problem, with it not showing up in the vehicle selector, so it will be up again soon
mod download back online!! --- Post updated --- guess it should work, however some meshes seem to stuck at getting back to the old shape at major damage.
What happened to the heal function? --- Post updated --- The driveshaft is to easy to break when going over the suspention test on gridmap
driveshaft will be removed. There is no driveshaft in a bug. Selfheal is running the whole time - so the button is useless.
Did you do all of the modelling yourself or did you use a basic shape and then edit it heavily? Either way the attention to detail in the model is absurdly high.
its selfmodeled. Re-worked all meshes several times, while constantly gain experience with modeling in blender. For this model I got high resolution original blueprints for a 1963 bug, as well as the best reference source you can get... my real 62 ragtop bug <3. Very much love put into this. Glad you apprechiate him!
It's already done, but bug has bugs, so when those are sorted it will be included. @53_herbie_53 from some reason my Q key is no working with this mod, it should switch between arcade auto and realistic gearbox behavior, but for some reason it does nothing, maybe it is related with key binds for wheelie thing?
yes that is related to the keys however I removed the Q key in the newest version, so no it should work again. Is it easy for you to move all the changes you've done to the newest update? If not just open keybindings.jbeam in folder inputmaps and paste this code in it. { "bindings" : [ { "control" : "-" , "action" : "heal" }, { "control" : "t" , "action" : "wheelie" }, { "control" : "g" , "action" : "exit_wheelie" }, ], "name" : "Keyboard" , "version" : 1 , "devicetype" : "keyboard" , "vidpid" : "6F1D2B61" , "guid" : "{6F1D2B61-D5A0-11CF-BFC7-444553540000}" },
I thought I had latest version, I accidentally deleted my version and downloaded new version, if I would of not send my files to you earlier I would of lost all work I can see file in zip, but not in game folder, weird as I named zip with number 3 to know that I'm using latest version. I need to do few compares, but I'm quite sure rest of the files should be from latest version and that keybindings just being missing from some reason, but I know after comparing. --- Post updated --- Only differences are in files I have changed, so it was just keybindings file missing from whatever reason, really weird:
@53_herbie_53 Ty Turns out I was actually running it on a version late, will be updating ASAP and looking forward to the mod working. Looks like an awesome mod and I'm pumped to reenact the movie scenes.
It may be lacking in most departments but i give you a 150 out of 10 in terms of the mesh. For now, i feel that it is a bit unfinished, with an interior with broken dials, some odd bugs, weird deformation and having to deal with the herbie skin always.
Ok so this new update is ok. I don't really like the seal healing update but love the wheelies, one problem is when your radiator overheats the smoke comes out of the bonnet instead of the engine compartment. Just small problems but not big deal love your mod anyways. (Been waiting a very long time for a 1963 beetle so great work and look forward to following this mod )
