Update Speculation thread

He's talking about the gavril bluebuck(https://www.beamng.com/threads/1963-gavril-bluebuck.436/).
It's one vehicle among a few that have been promised to be released. It's currently the next in line to be released, but the devs sometimes release an different vehicle inbetween like they did with the hopper and now likely with the bus.

Let's get back on topic then, shall we?

With a vehicle that appears to be complete and drivable in-game, what are the chances that the update is coming soon? (for the purposes of this conversation, let's assume "soon" means sometime within the next three weeks). I can't see any other real content coming, but who knows if this update will focus on scenarios, campaigns, and car parts?

 

I feel like it will be a month max... Unless they are doing BIG changes with the game engine etc. & the bus is just a "gift" to keep us happy in the mean time

 

The bus could be part of a smaller update including fixes for many bugs (ahem WCA slowdowns performance stats thumbnail generator ahem) while the architectural changes could come a month later. There have been vehicles release in smaller updates, and even hotfixes.

 

I had really good vibes about next weekend, but not so sure now, I would think max 1 month being quite good estimate, they have been rather busy.

based on this pattern, the update SHOULD be out at the beginning of march.

 

I agree, i recon tire temp is coming soon, if not 0.12 then 0.13

 

What was that feature that wasn't ready for 0.11? I think it was the tyre stiffness thing or something that makes FFB more responsive. Probably ready by now.

 

Doubt it... IMO, that would take too long to implement (knowing how the jbeam works). Unless they started LONG AGO, it might come in like the next 2-3 updates

 

Guys. Update will probably be around Easter. Don't get the hype train started now.

 

The moment they put the bus in a screenshot the hype train started. Bug fixes and a WACUSA airport rumors would not start this kind of a hype train. So enjoy this till the update.
