In this thread, we will make stories of car owners.

    Rules:
    • Every person can post a story. It has to be comprised of at least 2 paragraphs, and tell about the person, their cars, when they owned it and what events influenced their decision.
    • No blatantly unrealistic, ASB-type stories, trolling or shitposting.
    • You can post another story, but only if there were 3 or more other posted since your last.
    Examples:

    By me:

Ryan Lebelle was born in 1963 in a Californian trailer park to a pair of Okie parents. The first car he ever saw was his parents' 1950 Dodge Wayfarer sedan.

After reaching the age of 16, he was given a cheap car by his parents. The car was a 1965 Plymouth Valiant station wagon with the 170 ci slant-6. It was nothing special, but was able to carry him around.

Two years later, his father got a job at GM's Fremont assembly. After that, the family was able to move to a house, and Ryan got a new car - a 1965 200 ci Ford Mustang convertible. Not that special, but an upgrade.

However, a few months later, after graduating high school, Ryan joined the army. The Mustang would spend most of the time in the base's parking lot, and wasn't used much.

He was originally OK with his occupation, but after some deployments in Afghanistan, during which he saw the wartime horrors, made him leave the US Army in 1987.

After that, he decided to sell the Ford and move to LA. There, he worked as a van driver for a delivery company that operated Dodge Ram Vans. For the first 2 years, he used public transport, but in 1989 a 1981 Honda Prelude ended up on his driveway. A year later, he married Amanda.

After the birth of their first child, Noel, in 1989, and after in 1990 Ryan was offered a job in a food delivery company that operated reefer Chevy Kodiaks, the couple moved to a small farmlette in Northern California, where Amanda found a job at managing the paperwork of a motel.

There, Ryan would own 2 cars - a 1979 Chevrolet C-20 pickup truck for some utility stuff, and a 1978 BMW 730i sedan for driving around. In 1993, his daughter, Tracey, was born.

In 1995, Mr. Lebelle bought what was a quite interesting car - a cheap 1970 Jensen Interceptor in quite worn condition. He planned on restoring it, but never got around to that and sold his car in 1997.

In 1999, the BMW was starting to develop age-related issues, so he bought a 1990 (MY '91) Lincoln Town Car as a replacement. It wasn't as sporty, but the comfort definitely improved.

A year later, he was offered a broken 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible with all the extras, a gold-plated grille and a Continental tire kit. He bought it, hoping for this restoration project to work out. It wouldn't, with the Cadillac sitting for years under a tarp in his garden.

In 2003, Ryan took up a job as a long-haul trucker. It wasn't easy money, with days spent on the road all around North America, from Alaska to Mexico, but it was good money - after the training period, his salary climbed up to over $7k in a good month.

Using the money, he bought an '06 5.9 Dodge Ram 1500 with a decent amount of extras in late 2005. It replaced both the then-scrapped Chevy and the Lincoln, which went to Noel as his first car.

In 2008, Mr. Lebelle saw a cheap boat on the Internet and bought it. This also let him get rid of the Cadillac as a partial trade.

In 2011, he decided to trade the Dodge in for another truck that would be used for pulling the boat - the new '12 Ford F-250 6.2. It worked quite well, being able to be used both in heavy-duty stuff and in daily driving.

Three years later, Ryan was considering buying a restored classic. He watched some stuff - Mercedes SLs, Datsun Z-Cars, Triumphs... but in the end, he decided to buy a 1968 40-foot yacht instead. He still has it, and likes it.

In 2017, Mr. Lebelle decided to replace his previous F-250 with a 2015 diesel F-350 King Ranch, which he did. The truck is still in his possession.

Another story, from Duster02 (errors fixed, text parsed):
So, what are the stories created by you?

Jane Stevens was born in 1990 in London, UK. She was the only child of this family. She was brought up by a caring and lovely family.

Her father, Harry, is an auto enthusiast. He is a big fan of BMWs. When she was young, her father got a black BMW M5 E28 as a daily. He always took her to school with the car. She loved the car. Because of it, she started to love cars, especially BMWs.

At the age of 16(2006), she passed her driving test, and also she passed at her studies. To congratulate her, her father bought a E46 325i as a present. She loved the car, and she drove it everyday. The car, however, was sold at 2008 for accumulating funds for her studies.

In 2008, a 18-year old Jane went to Australia for further studies. One day, she went to Perth with her then-boyfriend, Francis. Francis, at that time, bought a 2002 VX HSV GTS. Francis let her drive the car for a while, and suddenly she loved the car. At the next month, she finally bought her own car, a 2003 Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo. After her studies, she worked as a accountant in a small company in Melbourne, where she lived with Francis at the time.

In 2009, she sold her Falcon and bought a brand-new red Falcon XR8 FG sedan. That time, she had broke up with Francis, and she moved to a house near Melbourne.

In 2012, she was promoted to a manager, and she bought a BMW 335i to replace her FG sedan. Later, she bought a used 2004 Holden Monaro VZ CV8 as a weekend car.
In 2013, she replaced her VZ with a HSV Gen-Z Monaro GTS.

In 2015, she was married to his current husband, Jerry, a son of a famous oil mogul. Jerry is also a big car fan, and he owns a 2008 Mazda MX-5 and a 2014 Holden Commodore SS-V Redline at that time. Later, she sold both her Monaro and the BMW, and bought herself a yellow BMW M3 F80, which is still her current daily driver.

A year later, she also bought a JDM Honda Beat, as a weekend car. However, she sold the car in 2017 and replaced it with a used S2000. She still owns the S2000 today.

Ivan Stanić was born in 1986 in Belgrade, Serbia (SFRY). His parents were both proffessors at one of Belgrade's faculties. Speaking of car, they had white 1985 Fiat Uno 1.0 FIRE at the time. They had such a small car, because they had small family, him and his 2 year older sister. Uno was in their possession until 1998. During that time Ivan has developed strong love towards Italian cars. His dream car was Alfa Romeo GTV. During 90s, Fiat was pretty much preserved and maintained. They even saved original hubcaps. It passed just 98Kkm until 1998.

In 1998 they bought brand new Yugo Florida 1.3 EFI in red. They kept Florida until 2004. Ivan made his first driver steps in this Florida. Ivan's friends was teasing him because he drove worst car. All of them drove better cars than him. Ivan complained to dad, and he said that is time to change a car.

They bought new silver Opel Astra H 1.6 VVT. This was last car Ivan shared with his family.

Next year, he got a new car, white 1993 Opel Corsa B 1.0 with 180kkm passed. He decided to buy this, because his father was very satisfied with quality of Opels.
Opel was in his possesion until 2013. After graduating on faculty, he immediately got a job in 2011. From 2011 to 2013 he didn't drive an Opel at all. Instead he was driving company's white 2009 Škoda Octavia 1.9 TDI Wagon.
In 2013. company had to sell all their cars to reduce expenses.
Ivan had to buy a new car. After he sold the undriven Corsa, he bought a new beige Škoda Rapid 1.6 TDI. He was happy with Škodas, that's why he bought it.
A year later, he got married and got a son in 2015.
In 2016 he finally achieved his childhood dream: buying an Italian sports car. He collected 4k€ and bought 2001 Alfa Romeo GTV Coupe.

(This will be a little different from the original, as it will change cars from the thread "Stories of cars or owners", like a few cars will be changed, and will continue in an different route.)
Beatrix "Metalhead" Begum was born in April 1st, 1971. She was born in Letterston, Wales, as she was born in her child-hood house with a friend that happened to be an professional nurse. She had an father (Lachlan), an mother (Godelina), and an uncle (Trevor). The father was an manager at Harp Inn, the uncle was an cook at the same workplace as the father, and the mother was an cashier at Today's News. They had two cars, an 1965 Morris 1100 (Mk. I) for the mother, and surprisingly, the uncle had an '60 Austin-Healey Bugeye Sprite....

They then moved to Swansea, Wales when she was 10. She found her mother's car very enjoyable, and thought of that as an dream car... but that didn't last so long. Her new home at 34 Islwyn Road was an step-up from her home back in Letterston, being even better than before and being easy to adapt....

When she was 17 (1988), she wanted to take her mom's 1100 out for an drive after succeeding in her driving school. Since she was new to driving cars, her mother taught how to maneuver it, and she was able to drive it almost like her mother. At that time, his uncle switched his Sprite for an newer Austin, an 1983 Maestro Vanden Plas. It was not as amazing as the Sprite, but the car was decent for their tastes. An year later, 2 days before Beatrix was accepted for Swansea University, her mother passed away after receiving cirrhosis (2 months ago), so she asked an friend who paints cars to paint red stripes onto the sides of the Morris, and have her nickname "Gode" written in-front of the stripes as dedication to her....

In March 1st, 1991, she found an car that would be her "actual" first car. Since she was interested in German cars, she was thinking of an BMW, but not just any regular BMW, an E30. Then, that day, she was able to buy one of the best E30s around; Beatrix bought an 1990 325ix sedan. When she came back to campus next day, her friends and even her economics teacher decided to view her BMW, and she got a lot of appreciation. She bought the E30 because she was reading in the newspapers that the 325ix was one of the best E30s, and an really good BMW. That immediately gave her idea to buy exactly that. Even after graduation, she still was able to maintain it... but one day, in June 21st, 1993, her car was stolen by an notorious man named Carbry Burns, but then immediately was dead after crashing into an semi trailer, exploding into flames and decimating the BMW and trailer two hours after he obtained the vehicle. She was upset that her prized car was stolen, and destroyed in an rough way....

An day later, she bought an 1991 Ford Bronco, with an RHD conversion. At first she thought was an nice SUV, but then driving it until February 10th, 1996, she found it an gas-guzzler and cumbersome for the roads of Wales, so she bought another car, going back to German cars....

The same day she sold the Bronco, she bought an 1994 Mercedes-Benz C220, which was something she definitely needed, and exceeded her expectations. Two months later, on the same day, she married to Callum Brus (Then to be Callum Begum), and he was able to accept the car as it was, but in December 24th, during an hailstorm, pieces of hail punctured the transmission, and they pulled the car to the side very quickly. Luckily, a day before, the Begums won the lottery with 2,000,000 dollars, so they were able to get something Callum always dreamed of...

On the day of Christmas, Beatrix got him his dream car as an present, an 1974 Buick Apollo. It was a stock Apollo 350, but Callum fell in love with it. He loved it to the extent of keeping it for a long time, and yes... he had the car ever since, and never had changed it at all. He loved everything about it, and always made sure to check the car before using it, and will always report to an mechanic of any issues he notices with the car.

As for Beatrix, she then bought an 2000 Audi RS4 Avant in 2003 when she had her daughter a week ago, Clover. She had the car prepared with an car seat, because of the dangers that might've happened if an crash were to come. But in January 2017, she finally took an old car, but one that would serve both of them, and would be passed down for Clover when she got old enough to drive... an 325ix Touring. Unlike the sedan, she had enough cargo space to fit other items if they were to shop, and Clover fell in love with the car. Just like Callum, she still owns the car since Clover is currently not at the right age, and that she hasn't changed plans ever since. Her company, Beat-B Shoes, has been an success, and has been giving the Begums a lot of profit, even sharing them with the remains of her family, her father and her uncle, still in decent condition even after multiple years.

As for the uncle, he followed the brother (father) and decided to buy an BMW too, but an modern one, an 2012 BMW 3-Series. Since January 3rd, 2018, they had the car in an clean and drive-able condition and has done well for the two.

Lastly, the Morris that the deceased mother owned is now an memorial symbol, in front of her gravestone. It has never been driven since 1991, and has stayed that way ever since.
