It feels too me that those wheels may be a tad too thick. The original MG TD used basically bicycle tires. (140 MM, from Automobile Catalog.com)

This is a good idea, and it seems to be going somewhat fast, I kinda think 1948 is a little too new for the body style of this car but then again some people want modern cars to look like cars from the 90's or 80's so it seems fine if you think like that, I could imagine someone driving this on the Vintage 30's Autobahn map and it would fit in rather well.
