Can you please say what C/K is? I have the same problem and cant find something in options. Its really very bright and burns in my eyes. is there an option making the whole screen darker? i dont drive in night often so it doesnt matter if its totally black.

Guys, there are lots of screenshots and a video so you don't have to waste your time downloading anything you don't like. If you haven't gone through the whole post before making a comment, I am not going to waste my time either.
I read the whole tutorial, i saw the video, i installed it all correct. maybe its my computer or my screen... my game does not look like your screenshots but i wanted to have the game look like them. i experimented with the files in the reshade folder and some settings made it better, some made it look worse. i read nearly every post and tryed most of the hints but they are not precise all the time. For example the gamma to 1.0 setting. Ingame any change does nothing. In the reshade settings it worked, but there are 4 files and more than 1 has gamma settings. Ingame under advanced you have again gamma settings but they doesn´t work too. My problem is not to get the mod to work, the mod works wonderful, except that my game is just too bright for me. and sorry that i am to stupid to know that C/K´s means Car Killers.
maybe try to go back with the normal settings and run the game as administrator by using directly the .exe file and tell me if it does make the whole think better or not...
nope. still the same. I don´t think that the shader isn´t working, i think my computer or screen makes it to bright.
When I was using the original presets, I found that they werent quite to my taste. I played around with the effects cfgs and ended up with these. Just drag and replace the files in the ReShade folder where it was installed. Let me know if its any better for you.
It is the first time someone takes the time to modify my preset and share it here. I have been encouraging people to do it since the beginning. I think the preset fits my taste, compared to others, but it will always be subject to my skills and subjective view, so thank you. I have been and am away from my main computer for a long time but I always try to provide all the support I can, so I made sure that almost any doubt can be solved through the main post, in order to minimize the need for my input.
No problem. Ive been meaning to upload my altered preset for some time now but it just kept slipping my mind. I hope maybe some will either like it or find it helpful and act as another starting point to modify to their tastes. Some screenshots I had taken with the shaders enabled below (clearly a fan of Utah, lol). The way I had changed it tends to look best in the morning or evening. Mid afternoon can be a little blown out and night time is nigh impossible, though I'm sure with enough tinkering that could be changed.
Looks pretty good man. Do you think you can provide some comparison screenshots (1 vanilla, 1 cessni's, 1 ignito's for each scene) and I think I will add it to the main post and credit you. It may be what people has been waiting for. I don't know how much you are into making this, so if you are interested, take as much time as you need and provide me with all the differences in effects and performance (fps) and possible benefits against mine, and I'll do the rest. My bad. Wouldve replied sooner but Ive been busy with school during the week. I recently switched my files to try out other reshades, so I need to reinstall the older reshade. Dont recall there being any notable difference in FPS while messing with the cfgs before, other than the difference between having the shaders on or off in general. Either way, Ill try to do it sometime this weekend when I find time. Will update and let you know whats up soon. Peace.
Hey Cessni, i dont use the ReShade at the moment, but i use all of your great visual enhancer like smoke and dust, and want to share some screenshots where you can see how good it looks in game.
I tried your presets ignito, but they made my game to dark on some maps (custom) and on Utah i have to much red. but i´m using an other monitor at the moment and tried cassni´s presets again and i don´t know why, but now it looks amazing.
Took a week, but I finally have time to upload some things. Below will be screenshots comparing the base game, cessni's, and my preset. I can't guarantee mine will look the same in your game since we all have different monitors and specific setup differences, but please feel free to try it out. Let me know if you like it, or report any oddities like overly bright or dark. Inside the zip file I've also attached a text file with some stuff to read beforehand about some settings worth playing with, possible troubleshooting and whatnot. Hey cessni. I love the mod but.... I have done all the stuff correct and its extremely washed out. I am using a displayport cable so HDMI thing doesn't help

I can't seem to get it to work, I followed the instructions right but it just doesn't have the shaders for me, if you find/know a way to fix this let me know.
