I'm just waiting for Tdev or a dev to come in here and debunk all of these newly spun rumors in a cloud of fire... But I can dream!

 

I was looking at who is on, and Box5diesel is also "viewing thread". he isn't a dev, is he? This is suspicious.

You guys remind of when a group of people on Battlelog (BF3) were constantly chatting on the forum, like a chat box.

 

They just took away the current activity thing, there's obviously something that they don't want us to see...

EDIT: Apparently Gabester has 23 wiki entries and Tdev has 93, but we don't have a wiki... What the hell?

Yes, i am getting so excited that when this whole thing gets shot down, I will piss my pants, fall out of the chair, curl up on my side in the fetal position, and then my joints will all glaze over. I will never, ever get up from that position as time warps itself around me. I will then be sucked into an alternate dimension, and there will never, ever be any trace of me left on this hell-hole we call earth.

 

I, on the other hand, will jump out of my chair while naked, drive to the grand canyon, careen through the visitor center while throwing pamphlets of screenshots from the BeamNG videos out the window and proceed to careen through the rim fence into the rocky landscape below.

 

I'm just upset that because of you guys I lost the Who's Online feature. I actually used that quite often, not to get excited for anything but because it turned into a habit from when I was moderating forums.

 

They probably would've taken it away anyway, it's more likely than not that they realized it could be a potential security flaw. If they wanted this ridiculous chain of posts they could've just given us infractions and walked away.

That is, if you're talking about the current activity feature. The Who's Online feature is still here.

 

'Current Activity' is linked into the 'Who's Online' feature but yes that is what I meant. As far as it being a potential security flaw/risk it is not. I've been on dozens of forums and have even moderated it and have never had any problems arise that were linked to the said feature. Even though I am not a moderator here, I still enjoy opening it up to see what post(s) are popular and/or where the most activity is. How would this be a security flaw? If the Administrative team is doing something in a private board and/or page all it shows is "Viewing Thread" or other vague titles, when I see this I just assume nothing and go on with what I was doing. Simple thing to do, and you guys should do the same. ^_^.

Yes, but it's entirely possible that they could've accidentally not checked some setting or something and it could've become visible. If I were a moderator I would feel uncomfortable with the mere possibility, ESPECIALLY if it was supposed to be the release date for a game that will inevitably cost money.
