So then about the LeGran. It has issues. The V6 sport has way more power than it needs (due to a supercharger) meaning this option is really only going to end in ruined tires and disappointment (from all the wheel-spin). The power to the front wheels accompanied by the hefty weight of the engine really means that this version just doesn't corner well at all. The I4 options are as slow as a tortoise and all handle like luxury yachts. This is bad, but at least the engine is light. This means that with some aftermarket coil-overs and a bit of love, you can have a fun to drive car that your not going to kill yourself in. The message I would suggest you take away from this overall is do not buy a V6 LeGran, it goes through fuel like a V8, it doesn't corner and it's overall running cost is similar to that of a Civetta. Get the I4 (any of them) and work on it.
I tried to make my truck I would make an actual '89 bronco but I can't find a good model and the only thing I could keep from my 80-86 mod would be the frame, roof and door skins
