At the moment, the jbeam is quite terrible. The rocket is wobbly when its standing up, so i need to improve the support structure on the inside and increase the beam stiffness. Like i said, it still needs a lot of work. When i'm close to finished with the jbeam, then i will show screenshots of it. As far as making it fly, I plan on adding thrusters to the main engines and smaller rcs thrusters in various places to control it during flight. However, the two stages will not be able to separate. Also there are no FPS issues so far, so i don't think anyone needs to worry about it not running well on lower-end systems.
Is it just me, or do you think Elon Musk made the name Big Falcon Rocket because it sounds like "Big F***ing Rocket".
Thats what i thought when i first heard of this rocket XD. In reality, its called that because it is the successor to all the rockets currently in the Falcon series, and because it is really, really big.
Woah, it's actual real sized (i guess it says 1:1 scale for a reason). Mine isn't the actual size of the real FH, Just a shrunken down version for a bit more fun i guess.
Yep. This rocket is massive. Having it be the true size of the real rocket is making it very difficult keep the jbeam stable though.
I will most likely have it finished by the end of this month. I'm busy with other non-beamng related projects as well, so that's why it could take that long.
