Here's one that I learned from an user.
In Ride Alone 2, when the BMW crashes, it changes into it's older model. (2007 E92 to 2000 E46)

    That's not all it...

It's so clear that the cars are CGI, look at some of them.

Should I include "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow"? It's not meant to be realistic or anything...

Here's this I noticed in Speed. I think that with how they edited the bus jump scene, this one tiny clip makes the jump look completely hopeless, as if the bus will jump off the unfinished freeway entirely.

Go to around 1:10 in this video to see what I'm talking about.

The Spider-Man show for DXD seems to be inconsistent with cars. Plenty of cars aren't sold in America, and some can't even be exported here yet.

Plus, if this is supposed to be based in New York, they could've used an ACTUAL New York city bus instead of an modern Euro bus.

It's clear that they're not interested in fully defining the vehicles populating the city. Of course most children probably wouldn't notice that kind of stuff anyway, unless they're true car geeks like the rest of us.

I guess you can say that the bus livery (somewhat) matches though. Judging by that image.

Plus, the Clio seems to have Tesla cues, which still makes no sense at all since Tesla has never made an hatchback yet.
For the bus, it's so simple that it's hard to say if it's fully accurate.

As you can see, the car in these scenes clearly got the livery TOTALLY wrong. This is why you don't use non-American buses as replacements. (Same problem with San Andreas, with the school-bus.)
Another thing is the accessory on the top. It keeps changing sizes, and sometimes isn't even there. Not surprising for an cheap-looking animated show, but atleast have continuity.
Same with the livery, it keeps changing so many times that I'm honestly shocked.

There is a lot wrong with that scene, due to physics, the car would've fallen, assuming it could actually fall that fast in real life, plus, if a crevice that size was to actually form in a single earthquake, the entire city would be flattened long before the rock could do shit

Well, I know for sure, that cities can use many different types of buses and custom liverys for certain routes depending on the route passenger demand

Also, I'm sure I see a Renault sorta hatchback farther back in the pixelated hellhole known as godzillas foot

They probably weren't going for a Tesla look, only something generic. I think it's purely coincidence that it has that Tesla vibe to it.

I agree with you, it's odd that they used a French bus for New York of all places. But it goes back to what I said before, most viewers that are not into cars wouldn't notice, so the people making the show probably cared less about what their vehicles looked like.

At least they got the police cars right and made them look like Crown Victorias. Same being said for the fire trucks and ambulances. They all look like something you'd see in NYC.

BTW, is the NYPD still using CVs? Or would that be another thing this show got wrong?

There was never an record for an Irisbus in New York City, let alone Euro buses in general.
Plus, I'm pretty sure the Forester is not that strong, even with an good rating for an side crash... but it's an goddamn landslide, not an vehicle. Plus, it falls like an big floppy disk with wheels and an passenger.
I never saw that, but not only that, the Camry that crushed the boyfriend didn't explode, even though I'm sure it damaged the fuel tank.

They probably still do, just not as common.
Also, even with cheap animation, I could do an better Clio than that show.

That what happens when most of your movie is CGI.

In the Disaster Artist, I saw an Audi that looks like a 2004 or later in a part that takes place in 2002.

When I was that young, I already knew Clio wasn't sold in the US.
It doesn't have any Tesla cues, they just were too lazy to draw the grille.
