No backfire sounds

Am I the only one experiencing this???

 

No, I'm experiencing the same problems. Also, my old pessima's exhaust noise is broken as well. Maybe @Nadeox1 can help

Why would you want backfire sound, unless it's some old beater?

 

Mostly because of the antilag

closest thing i could find to a problem I'm having. The hopper has no sound from the update that added all of that, it sounds like the base sound beamng had ages ago. I don't have any sound mod for the thing, just a couple of v8 engine add-ons.

 

I was having a similar issue. I downloaded a supercharger whistle mod for the D-Series, but all V8's in the game sounded like the old base sound

 

That is because the sound config is typically located in either the engine or the intake files. If there is no sound config, that's when BNG defaults to the demo sound I guess.
Like wise the exhaust popping relies on an actual connected exhaust system. The engine needs an exhaust node or it wont work. Mods mods mods

Anti lag is the most missused car term since 2015. Very few knows what antilag actually is and people usually just assume that exhaust flames = anti lag.
