So, I've decided to piggy back off of the work of other people. I love the cars from the game, "Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven." I'm thinking of just porting the scripts from the "Wright" cars, and using them in Blender, or RaySupreme3D.

And what I want to do with these cars, is update them. We all know that the cars from a game this old don't necessarily hold up that well, and I want to work with them. I will of course give the original developers credit, if I ever do work with this. I'll probably start with the wheels, tires, and hubcaps, and move on to the engine and frame. After that, the general body, and after that, the interior, and even after that, the little details. Badging, grill, dashboard, lights, everything else.

I will might add in different body styles, likely a Tudor sedan, a steel topped Coupe, a Woody Wagon, a Phaeton, and maybe a Limo, extended wheelbase. I might even have 2 different lines. The Standard, and the Luxe. The Luxe comes with whitewalls, dual carbs, and a radio. The Standard comes with blackwalls and single single barrel carb. The only standard body styles are the sedans, and the coupe. I suppose it is best that both lines have L-Head straight eights.

    Possible Configs:
Gangster: Fordor, with bullet proof glass, thicker steel, similar to the one in the game, but a Fordor.
Barn Find: A dusty, beat up black sedan, a little bit of rust, missing hubcaps, and a bunch of loose parts in the backseat. (It barely runs.)
Old School Custom: A convertible model, chopped top, lowered with fender skirts, headlights molded into the fenders, custom taillights, dual exhaust, dual carbs, flipper hubcaps, whitewalls, no badges, less trim, a Tuck & Roll interior, and last but not least, a Packard grill*.
New School Custom: A coupe model, with a 353 Gavril, newer mirrors, LED headlights and taillights, leather bucket seats, custom leather door panels, new dashboard, and custom wheels**.

P.S. Note, that this is all a big maybe. Chances are greater of me never working on this, but we'll see. If anybody agrees with this, please let me know.

P.P.S. I think might delete the fog lamps, if I do get working.

P.P.P.S. I also have RaySupreme3D, so let me know if / how I can use that. You might / will have to link me to some videos or tutorials, as I'm pretty new to this whole thing.

P.P.P.P.S. If any developers from the original game are not very appreciative of this, feel free to flag this thread. I will give the devs credit, I just need to know their names.

    * See Harry Westergard's old customs.
** It pains me to have this config, even written down, without the mod even started yet. Point is, I don't like "New School Customs."

Pictures don't work but I like the idea. Not many classic cars beside the Burnside and Auriga Heron.

You don't have to lose money because of this, keep working, I'll get some stuff done on my own. Thanks though.
