Just a single fix for something technical. Nothing that was worth a blogpost/changelog. It's adviced to not skip it. EDIT to reply to below: It's not related to mods / content creators. As said it's just a boring technical fix for something very under the hood.
If its under the hood stuff I understand just adjusting a few values and other things, perfectly understandable, core files and stuff thats the under the hood area I expect to have been tweaked
So... moving on to more exciting topics, there were two exciting precedents set by the 0.12 update: With the bus's kneeling airbags, we have the first official in-game example of suspension that can be adjusted at the touch of a control. This could be an indication that official lowriders are around the corner Dual tires have finally been split into two separate, individually poppable tires, with each one leaving a skid mark. This removes one of the roadblocks to additional wheel/tire variants for the D35, H45, T-series and DT40L. This same roadblock has also been removed for any new large vehicles.
I hope that means the Bluebuck too. I'm happy we got the Wentward, but I'm still wanting the Bluebuck. Also, the airbag thing threw me into a loop. I thought the game wasn't getting airbags, yet it got an airbag suspension. I never heard of such a thing until now.
It's also fairly common (minus the kneeling) for large trucks and trailers nowadays. It wouldn't surprise me if the Randolph dry van got an air-ride option at some point. I remain hopeful for the U-series ↓
I wonder if that airbag suspension mechanic could be applied to inflate/deflate tires with just one button
The extra tires makes it LESS stable at higher speeds ALSO i believe a bendy bus version is comming just look at the uvs
Anyone else having really slow UI Apps in BeamNG? I am. (created a thread for it, i got no tips though.) I'm just curious to see if anyone else is having very slow UI Apps, or just accessing the menu. For me, the UI Apps are slow, as well as the menu where you can spawn up vehicles, customize vehicles, go to the repository, etc. It takes a solid 3 minutes just to change a bumper on a car.
I do (especially on first load of any car-related menu, that can be 3-4 minutes of freeze but its just normally sluggish otherwise) but Its probably because im on a dual core laptop with ~200 of mods (they really slow down everything loading related) If its the loading of new parts that is slow, pause the game so you can change multiples.
In safe mode everything work fine (too much mods slowing down UI) but config menu and tuning menu is still painful to use.
I even used safe mode the the menu is still very slow, just wondering if it’s something pc related. (Such as too many programs running in the background or something else I don’t know about)
Here's my thoughts on the story: You start out as a nothing on Utah and some of the smaller island maps, and move up to a small time driver on east coast. You gain fame, and move to west coast where you become a major player in the underground racing circuit. You also take major driving jobs on the side. Finally, you make it to italy where you take part in a grand prix race series around the island. Maybe you have to deal with other racers or the law as the antagonist throughout the story.
I wonder if it would be Utah → WCUSA → ECUSA →, simply because Utah is closer to the West coast than the East coast.
