Does anyone else who lives in New England go out today? The snow made for some fun!

Finally ended the month long debacle of figuring out why my brand new rad I installed was leaking, turns out the brand new O-ring on the fan control switch was faulty and caused a leak. I finally fixed it last night, my RSX is finally back to normal.

You guys had snow in Connecticut today? It was like 50 up here in Northern MA/Southern NH.

Yeah in southern Maine it stayed around 40-50 most of the time, and only got a very wet dusting of snow.

In other news, my crank position sensor died on me last night, had to get a tow. Hopefully will have a new CPS first thing tomorrow, and fuel pump should be in early next week.

It only stayed for a few hours until it warmed back up, it was really fluffy stuff too, by afternoon it was back to looking and feeling like spring! It was fun while it lasted though. I recorded my little drift session and noticed how nice the exhaust note is with the cold air intake, I should get a clip of it to share.

Preparing to do my Jeeps shift-Solenoids, and replace my spark plugs (Which are of unknown vintage), and my spark plug wires (Which I can guess are as old as the plugs if not older)

(Off-Topic but needs to be acknowledged)

Replaced the (very old and very dead) alternator :) (apologies for the first picture)

This thing was super nasty and stuck in there.

Atleast the new one is nice and shiny :) And more importantly... working.

And while I was at it, decided to replace the mass airflow sensor too. Which had failed or was failing. (and filled with oil which was a surprise I didn't want)

And when the rain cleared up and the sun came out for a bit, it was the perfect time to snap a cool photo of it. (with help from a photo editor :p)

Technically yesterday now, but got the alternator unbolted because it's pretty much RIP. Have the new one in my possession now, ready to go in tomorrow.

New set of Cusco Street Zero-A went in.

    DBA T3 front rotors.

    Carbon fibre arrived.

    Bumper cut.

Rebuilt the shifter, renewed turret oil. Exedy HD clutch also went in sometime before this.
Club NA 44mm horn button replaces the tired old Momo button.

Changed out the faded, autistic looking manual window switches for rare JDM Eunos auto switches. Wiring harness had to be extended because Mazda. The connectors were fortunately a standard 6 spade which meant I didn't have to modify the original harnesses.

Painted and polished strut brace to match the rest of the engine bay. Second picture is the engine bay in April 2017.

Unedited shots from my 5D MkII. Lens was playing up that day so I couldn't shoot past 35mm but still nice.

Missed a bunch of things probably. Next on the agenda is a 2.5" stainless twin tip centre exit catback with high flow 100/200 cell cat, a set of 6UL Gen IV 15x8 rims on Hankook RS4, and bin the B6-ZE in favour of a BP-Z3 controlled by an MS3. The VVT motor will give much, much better bottom end and is just a better engine to turbo in literally every way. Paired with the VICS manifold from a BP-4W, it should pull pretty hard even NA. See how we go.

Noticed a brake light wasn't working on Saturday, had it fixed Monday morning.

I dunno why it's so fun babying such an average car but it is.

Excuse my terrified yelling.. I thought I was going into a tree or rolling over without a doubt. Beyond lucky that all it did was destroy my bumper cover. Fenders, hood, grilles, radiator and fans, etc is all completely untouched.
