It's the Daewoo Damas or Tata Magic Iris of phones - it's good if your demands are "it must work".

iPhone 3GS 16 GB was my first smartphone.
    Samsung Focus (Windows Phone 7)
    Samsung Infuse 4G
    Google Nexus 4
    Samsung Galaxy S5
    Google Nexus 6
    iPhone SE 32 GB

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 64 GB (current phone, running Android 8 Oreo). To say that this is a great smartphone would be a massive understatement. Easily the best one I've ever used. With the exception of the iPhones, every phone I've had has been carrier unlocked.

My first phone was a galaxy note 4 who, surely due to samsung changes due to the fail of the s5... It had decent specs for 2018, except for his eMMC wich was total crap and died a little bit after two years, not to say a little bit after the warranty, wich happened to most of the note 4's users...
So now, I'm currently owning a nexus 6p, pretty good phone, and, to be honest with all the samsung phone owners, I never thought that loosing al those " features" and most importantly the s pen was gonna be so easy... That's btw how I realised at what point samsung phones are totally bloated...

I've starded with some sort of old samsung phone with basically nothing, then was some old nokia, java based LG with crappy plastic touchscreen (durable though, but it did not have wifi) and after that I've had sony xperia j3 (i think) and then I've bought the phone I have now, that is LG K10 2017 Dual Sim.
I do not care one bit about what phone I have as long as it has a decent camera, WiFi and at least 16 Gigs of memory for all of the apps. I'd like to be able to buy the Cat s90 (i hope that I got the model right).

    First phone:

Philips Savvy, bought in 1999. :)

I owned pretty much every Google Phone in existence since the introduction of the "Nexus" program. I now rock a LG Nexus 5X and I love it.

The Galaxy note 4 is a great phone, I used one too for a while, but it was so slow after a year or two, Its almost as if it was being slowed down on purpose

What do you do to your phones to make them slow? Usually they don't get slow quickly.

Using them every day, using intensive apps for a long time. Not the best you can do :)

Those first two phones look like you could play football with them because they are SO round. I absolutely hate phones with round corners especially like those two. (Apple round curves and S8 round curves I don't mind tho.)
