Yeah, why? I'm just joking... You wrote "styx" and this came to my mind. I don't know where I've seen it before.......
Carrot styx is my friend who's car I am modelling o clue where you could have got Hoe Breadstix from. --- Post updated --- I was toying around with an old model to recycle and improve as that had a better polyflow, to get to the point: it didn't work. It will take a bit longer but I am going to start some work on the "loads" mentioned in previous posts, only to keep the sedan from getting stale. Thanks for understanding!
"I cannot brain today, I has the dumb" This quote perfectly describes my feelings right now: I was putting all of my effort into the sedan while the pickup is practically finished. I could have been jbeaming the pickup the entire darn time. But soon as I am almost at a reasonable stage in modelling I will finish the sedan anyway. New configs that I forgot about: Go-Kart carrier (livery 1) Go-Kart carrier (livery 2) Go-Kart carrier (livery 3) Go-Kart carrier (livery 4)
I will be taking a break, I've been working on this new sedan but I keep failing miserably, I think I just need a break to work on something else on my list of 11 other ideas for mods. Sorry. Another thing, due to this being my first mod it was never going to be fully detailed, some parts will be missing, the suspension doesn't line up right and the engine is a glorified blob (however that will be fixed). The charmand was almost a joke for me and then friends got excited, so I opened the forum where all of you encouraged me to continue. I thank all of you for helping me to get this far and hope you can wait a while for me to be able to figure out this issue.
Here is my attempt at a decent polyflow, I'm probably missing a trick somewhere. After trying to make a good polyflow 4 times already I lost my mind, or at least what was left of it.
I would need to finish the more important parts first and if you looked at post #244 I will be taking abreak to work on the go-kart or the other two secret projects I have on hold.
This.. this took too darn long, but here is the beginning of the new body, maybe more progress than originally thought.
For loop cut, thanks so much! I didn't know this existed. And slide? What do you mean? I also don't really get your point, or what your trying to get across. I'm not using subdivide, I'm making all these manually.
Now I know that, thanks so much for telling me about that. I thought it seemed to be taking longer than it should.
No problem --- Post updated --- Here is a model i'm making. That is somewhat what your poly flow should be like. It can be more high poly, but I'm keeping this model more on the low side.
Here is the body i'm going to roll with, it needs some adjustment but it's overall what I want: --- Post updated --- I'm only settling for this due to the fact that it's my first mod that was never meant to be insanely detailed.
I was thinking about the rally version, the real one has a widebody kit which I think looks ridiculous: However It could look like this instead: Make your choice below.
