I want make a structure, metalic and alloys.
than i want shock impact stress this tructure.
and make a force measures for as much apoint fo structure as its possible
Link me guides on how to make structure and program window for force impact shock forces speed shear stress . anything of this will help, i have read guides on make car and thing but they have poor explaining in it

    Thanks for help.

You also have to have something done before you start a thread here.

I have done nothing, bought programa so i can use it. i am complete newbie in it.
And yet i want to build a metalic sturcture. airplane like. and crash it on ground.

then get from that simulation data for forces and stres values for impact
i dont know how to do it.

That's my point!! Don't post a thread if there's nothing done!!

I take it that you want to build an aircraft for BeamNG, crash it into something and measure the forces upon impact?

There are a number of planes on here already for you to crash at your disposal, like this one, this one here or even this one if you prefer.

If you are really set on making your own, I suggest you have a read up on modeling and JBEAM's

As for the measuring of forces, I don't think BeamNG can give the magnitude of the force in a collision as a read out value, but i wouldn't know because I generally judge the forces based off how broken my car looks:eek:

I believe you can see the G forces in the first debug screen by hitting L

    thanks
I got a hand on JBEAMing created simple structure and made some triangles .
you guessed right, about crash things into other things and measure the forces upon impact
I have read somewhere on forum and in program description that its possible to measure forces.
yes i found, that shows some of them.

1 what bothers me is how close to reality those values are.
2 how i can get more control over geting those values into some kind of data sheet.

    any clues to those questions?

A lua plugin might be able to plot G values into a CSV file maybe. As for accuracy, its as perfect as the object and collision you provide.

    1. They are accurate

    2. You can't. But you have a G-meter, you can check the mass of the vehicle you're crashing, the speed of the crash. You can do some calculations from there.

is it possible to send G-meter data for 5-10 times per second at impact to a file along with direction of G-force vector?
impact lasts about as long as velocity hits 0 so it isnt more than 2-3 seconds total.

i was thinking about implementing new debug window, or mixture of those debug build already but in separate window. is this a good ideia?

colision is simple, direct a plane to ground and measure forces from impact to time until plane is at full stop.

another thought was : Is it posible to collect displacement vectory. I mean a center of gravity position at given time.
with that displacement i could get a velocity and forces and any other values i wish for precise simulation of impact.

Would be even better if 3 different spots positions of vehicle, at each second relative to center of map.
for example first spot at front bamper second at CG and third at rear bamper.

any hints on this one ?
btw working on cesna 172 model that was made already making it more realistic
also got whole list of Cesna acidents from 2005 year ,FAA gave it and have choosen 5 of thsoe acidents. mostly nose down to ground or trees or water.

thank you for your help guys
