In-game mod repository downloading real slow (30kb/s)

Hey, today I found the repository feature but when I download anything, it is seriously slow. It also was slow when downloading manually. Does anyone have any suggestions why?

 

How can I tell wat one it is?

 

I had the same problem and then plugged my computer into the ethernet and now it works great.

 

Thanks, I think it's my internet as I took a speedtest and downloaded from other websites and it is still slow. Off topic, how can I pause or cancel the download from the in-game repository?

 

Bumping this thread because I have a similar issue. While downloading mods in the in-game repo, some mods will complete in seconds (that are also larger in file size) and some will take forever because it's downloading at a minuscule rate. I downloaded the same file that was going slow in my browser and it completed in seconds.

Here is a screenshot I took: (I started the MtROR.zip download about 2-3 minutes after the condensa.zip one and I had to scramble to take a screenshot because it was going so fast)

Could this be a server load issue like explained above, or is it just something to do with the in-game repo?

 

Tiny bump but I have internet that limits out at 35 MB/s and averages 7-20 MB/s and it's fine for me.
If there's a priority option anywhere on your internet connection try setting BeamNG to the highest priority.
If not, then as previously mentioned in this thread there's nothing much the community or the developers can do about it I'm afraid.
Another possibility is that something's hogging the download lane, so that little of the download space can go to the repo..
