how can places like that be just abandoned? Also if i would have known it and if i would have had the money i would have bought all the stuff and would´ve tried restoring all of them
To a less hostile subject, a friend is buying a first gen Honda Civic CVCC, it's blue with steel rims and a four speed manual.
yep and if a car commercial shows a speedometer then it's breaking advertising laws. vs Shock education really is moving. I think that the UKs basic education for things like this is really high quality. There is no skimping here. Also we have mandatory "PSHE" lessons where they usually have the talks at schools. Required by law, and happens every year with a slightly different talk depending on the year group.
Some of them are in really good shape compared to cars that spent their whole life on the road, especially the ones inside buildings. They have low mileage (greatly increases the resale value) and have been unaffected by road salt for years. Some of them are not worthy of restoration, but they would make great parts donors. I'm sure you could earn quite some money if the owner agreed to sell them for scrap value.
You sure? The grille on the Crown is more of one that expands from the bottom and has more rounded vertices.
looks like they took all the German cars then took a grille from a genesis and mashed it all together
Well, that grille is more straighter than the Crown's. Not sure if it would be a copy of Porsche or Opel though.
The US uses "shock education" too, or at least Idaho does. The local highschool does a mock DUI where acting students and the city police work together to make a pretty realistic drunk driving accident scene, complete with wrecked cars and a helicopter ambulance. Besides some particularly gory images that I knew were real and not makeup, that kind of thing has never really bothered me, but it was enough to make some people cry. Going more than 5 below the limit when there is no reason is quite frustrating, especially when that person then speeds up as soon as there is a passing lane.
