Um, it is stated in the steam FAQ... It is considered common courtesy to take insults if you can't be bothered to read.
So we can have two games. One like before and one on steam. Thats great because i do not want to stay always online while playing BeamNG, but sometimes its good. When the game gets a multiplayer, steam will be thery usefull i think.
Steam will be there main advertising as well the this game will spread like a virus, therefore giving the developers lots of money to speed things up.... well its a big possibility. they will not be thinking of multilayer for now(internet), but i do hope a wired(local) multi-player will be implemented sooner for testing purposes and well fun...
yeah, but steam's offline mode is stupid, good concept, but you have to actually HAVE, an internet connection to enable it, as it requires you be logged in just to enable it, and since you can't really do that without an internet connection, well
No it doesnt? Can be launched via command line parameter. Also if you are offline and try to launch steam if will display a no internet connection error before prompting for offline mode... Both essentially allowing you to launch steam while offline... Someone elses fail image:
Exactly, there is a reason that Steam is pretty widely praised by gamers. And if Valve required an internet connection to play offline games do you really think that the service would be as popular as it is? Steam will be the best thing to happen to Beam, especially if it gets Steam Workshop support.
